I HAVE MISSED YOU! I love everything about you: your sweet voice and demeanor, creativeness, shabby chic ideas, tips, the way you explain things, fabric and color choices, supplies you use, I could go on and on but I don’t want to scare you 😂😂😂. Anyway, I hope to see more of you here, I’ve been anxiously awaiting your return. I think my favorite part was the sweet photos of you and your mama. I too miss mine. I’m going to make a pillow pocket similar to yours to put some old photos in as well. Precious little tribute. You have such a genteel way about you that I love. Being from the great state of TN it is adorable !!! Looking forward to your next video.
Your kind words mean so much, thank you Teena! I’m glad you enjoyed the pillow and plan to make one for yourself for treasured photos. I’m sorry you’ve lost your mom too. Most all of my family live in Tennessee and we plan to move there in a few years to be near them. I started this channel to share the love of crafting, taught to me by my mom. It thrills my heart to craft with you!
OMG! I was just thinking if you not two minutes ago, and HERE YOU ARE! I was wondering when you were coming back because I really miss my favorite shabby videos! I hope you had a good hiatus, but it’s to our advantage to have your wonderful and inspiring videos again! Welcome back, can’t wait to get started on new projects; I’m drowning in Farmhouse and I need a frilly fix that you do so well. So having said that, I’ll go watch your video now. Excuse my exuberance! WELCOME BACK!
Your exuberance about my channel just warms my heart Gizmo! I’ve missed all the sweet viewers like you, and I’m glad to be crafting again. It’s been so busy around here but now it’s back to filming shabby tutorials!
Like the others have said below, welcome back. I was so happy to see your video this morning. And as usual your projects are stunning. ♥️ That pillow is my favorite too. And your embellishments on the night light are beautiful too. I look forward to the next video. Have a great weekend Becky. 😘
Thank you so much Susan! So glad to be back with all of you sweet ladies again. All the busyness has settled down and I’ve got lots of projects planned!
Thank you so much Annie! I really like having my photos in the doily pocket. I may have to make more of the pillows for my sisters. I know that you know how it feels to miss your mom!
Sorry for, those little faces I mean to put some little white hearts and I got confuse..so,sorry but here are my little, hearts 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍💗💗💗🌸💗💗🌸🌸for your amazing projects…blessings always 🙏🙏🙏🌻🙋🏻♀️
Hi Becky! Glad your back!! I love all of your crafts today but if I had to choose, well, it’s a toss up. The pillow and the nightlight!! May I ask where you purchased the light light?? I love it and how fun is that to create your own nightlight! Thank you for all your sweet DIYs like the bowl, precious! See you next time!! 🥰
Hello my friend, so glad to be crafting with you again! I bought my light at Walmart last year. It turned out really cute and coordinates with my shower curtain too! Thanks for being here and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Welcome back! I missed you and your videos. All of the projects was great, but the pillow, oh my goodness or maybe your pictures. Actually brought tears to my eyes because I, too, miss my mom so much! Thank you!
Thank you Deanna, so glad to be crafting again! I love having my treasured photos in the doily pocket. I’m sorry you’ve lost your mother too. May you take comfort in joyful memories of her!
Rachel, thank you for such kind comments! I wouldn’t even have a channel without sweet viewers like you. I’m so glad you enjoyed these projects and hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Modge podge does the same as Elmers, my therapist has me roll clay in my hands a lot for arthritis and since I am doing it anyway this is a great idea for a project. New to your channel, LOVE your ideas.
I’m glad you’re here Nancy! I also have arthritis in my hands. I love that rolling clay is therapy and fun at the same time. Thank you so much for watching and I’ll see you next video!
Loved your new video. I am a doily collector and it's the first section I head for at an antique shop! Now I have some ideas on what to do with them! All the projects were adorable, but I think my favorite was the pillow, and I can't wait to make one! Thanks for all your inspiration.💗
Thank you Susan! I feel the same way about doilies. My thrifting has been successful if I’ve found a few! I’m glad I was able to offer a bit of inspiration with these projects. Happy Crafting!
I just love watching you create your projects. They always turn out so beautiful and I learn something new each time.. and I’ve been crafting a very long time. I learned how to used the small doilies around the jar from my mother, but she used “starch”and the doilies/scarfs were very stiff. Using the doilies on the clay “fantastic”. The pocket on the pillow OML, “ outstanding” idea. But that night light had to be my favorite. It looks so vintage and shabby. Please post the exact name of the night light. I tried doing a search but came up empty handed. Thanks for sharing your talents. You’re such a pleasure to listen to and watch. 👏👏👏🦋😘
Thank you so much Sandra; I’m glad you enjoyed these little shabby projects! I bought my kit at Walmart last year, but it appears the manufacturer is no longer in business. I found 2 that may work, and I’ve linked them for you. One is self adhesive and the glitter one from Amazon looks like it would be easy to re-cover. factorydirectcraft.com/catalog/products/1866_3121_1974-69024-adhesive_candelabra_lampshade.html?ccset=US&autocs=1&auto_coupon=10june22&mkwid=%7Cpcrid%7C%7Cpkw%7C%7Cpmt%7C%7Cslid%7C%7Cpdv%7Cm%7Cproduct%7C69024%7Cpgrid%7C%7Cptaid%7C%7C&gclid=Cj0KCQjw8amWBhCYARIsADqZJoVJOkcC9v-tPrBxeHZ7WboYZm8oSHzAL-vSOk5p5NX6K8alo5rMUhUaAoq_EALw_wcB www.amazon.com/GE-11314-CoverLite-Efficient-Entryway/dp/B00JBKZH6M/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=2YDXZ3R63SRH0&keywords=ge%2Bdecorative%2Bled%2Bnight%2Blight&qid=1657493944&sprefix=ge%2Bdecorative%2Bled%2Bnight%2Blight%2Caps%2C84&sr=8-3&th=1&psc=1
and Mrs T Loved everything you did but think the rose you made for the pillow was a bit too big and the colour made it look dull sorry as the pillow was lovely before you added it
And it’s nice to be crafting with you again Suzette! I have so much lace and lots of doilies and they were fun to use. I’m glad you enjoyed these shabby little projects and I appreciate you watching!
Becky, So glad you’re back!!! All of your projects were beautiful but I think the pillow was also my favorite. The clay trinket trays were a close 2nd. Have an Amazing week. 💜💜💜
Glad to be back crafting with my friends Vickie! I loved how the pillow turned out, but those clay dishes were the most fun to do. Thanks for watching and I’ll see you soon. I hope you have a fabulous week as well!
Thank you Cynthia; it’s great to be in my craft room again! I made the boards and decoupaged them. Here’s the link to the template I used. She has the most beautiful blog! www.shabbyartboutique.com/2015/07/diy-vintage-lace-ribbon-boards.html
Hi Becky, so happy to see your new video. All of your creations were amazing. I can’t choose a favorite cause they are are equally great. I will definitely try the clay and doily idea since I do lots of projects with air dry clay for faux foods but now you opened my eyes to home decor. So enjoyed watching as always. See you again soon Debbie & Grandma Sandy 🌸✂️👱♀️
Thank you Debbie and Sandy! My mom enjoyed making faux foods too, but I’ve never tried it. If you like working with the clay, I’m sure you’ll have fun making trinket dishes. Happy Crafting!
Thank you for watching Morticia! Using vintage crafting supplies makes me feel nostalgic too. I didn’t mean to make you feel sad though and hope you’re feeling happy again!
Welcome Back sweet Becky! I missed you! Love this vid. Everything was just gorgeous as always. My fave is the pillow, too, but I also just love that adorable lampshade night light! Everything you created with the doilies came out so beautiful! I miss my mom, too. It's been 10 yrs now and I miss her every single day. It was soooo good to see you craft again! Thank you, and may God bless you and your family abundantly.
Thank you Valerie, I’m happy to be crafting with you again! I was pleased with my projects, even if one of my trinket dishes looked like a taco shell. I’m so sorry you’ve lost your mom too. You know the joy of memories mingled with deep sorrow. Blessings to you as well!
Sooo happy to see you back, Becky! These projects are just precious. I don't know how you come up with so many wonderful ideas. Thanks for sharing your fabulous talent with us!
Thank you so much Mary! I definitely find lots of inspiration on Pinterest, but I also look around my craft room and think “what can I make with this”? No shortage of stuff in my room 😂 I appreciate you watching and hope you have a fabulous weekend!
So glad to be crafting with you again! I bought mine from Walmart last year. Maybe Amazon or Hobby Lobby would have them too. I’ll look around next time I’m out shopping.
Thank you so much Debra! Crocheting doilies was one of my mom’s favorite activities. I know the time and love that goes into making them. I do have some I cut up from the thrift store if they are too damaged for me to be able to repair. I love using them in projects and I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Thank you Diana! I’m glad you like the pillow; I was really happy with how it turned out. I think it will also be cute at Christmas with greenery and Christmas cards in the pocket.
I wouldn’t be a crafter if not for my mom. She loved all kinds of crafts and always had a project or two going! Thank you for always watching and commenting Debra!
Love the doily bowls, I have the materials to make those. You're just full of surprises on this one, I believe its your best video so far. I miss my Mom too, she is in a nursing home, but due to my health I don't get to see her. Blessings!
Thank you Sheila, I’m so glad you plan to make the doily bowls! The camera doesn’t show just how pretty they are. I’m so sorry you’ve been ill and unable to visit your mother. I couldn’t imagine how it must feel for you both! 🙏
Becky, such a delight for me as I turned on my computer and there YOU were! 😊As always, I enjoyed watching you create more cute home decor items. I liked them all, but my favorite was your little plug-in light for your guest bathroom - sooo CUTE! My guest bedroom is white with touches of pink. My lamp in there needs a "makeover"- more "frilly/girly". Thanks to you - now I have my next project to do! God Bless🤩🥰
Thank you Shelia! I love my little light too, and it’s really cute in the guest bathroom. I’m glad that project sparked a bit of inspiration for you. Have fun giving your lamp a makeover and enjoy your weekend!
Thank you for your sweet comments Sandi! I have the pillow on my bed and rings in the smaller dish. I appreciate you watching and I’m glad you enjoyed these projects!
Hi Becky . I’ve just tuned into your video ! And my Goodness me . You are just the Sweetest thing I’ve Seen in a Long time Your Adorable 🥰 Boy oh Boy I just ❤️❤️❤️ them All , but if I Had to choose it would be the pillow and the cute little shade ❤️ You are So Talented 👏 I Certainly Will be Waiting for your next video 👍 Have an awesome day Beautiful lady 🤗
Hello Ondina, and thank you for your kindness! I love how the pillow looks on my bed, and the light looks great in my bathroom. I’m glad you enjoyed these little projects too! Thank you again for your sweet comments and I’ll see you next video!
Hi Becky! It is good to see you back and hear your voice again! I love love LOVE the pillow and the nightlight! (Where did you purchase the nightlight kit?) Hope you are well and having a great summer. 🏡🌞🏡
Hello Kim, it’s great to craft with you again! I bought the kit from Walmart last year and love how it turned out. It’s been a busy summer, but I’m glad my schedule has settled down so I can dedicate time to filming. Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you soon!
I love your crafts! I’ve always loved Shabby Chic. My craft room is Shabby Chic style. I’m currently working on organizing it. Been looking for storage solutions. I don’t have a lot of wall space. Supplies took over. lol So I thought some pretty storage would be great. You have great ideas for that! Today I took a thrifted basket and shoved all my Spring greenery in it to make an “arrangement”. Got that idea watching you. There were also some great ideas in this video. Thank you so much for sharing! I can hardly wait to get back to crafting and try out some of these ideas for my craft room! 😊
Hi Becky.Welcome back.I hope you had a wonderful rest, break, vacation whatever.Nice to see you back again. lovely projects. The night light, wouaou! that turned out amazing. - I tried making a clay doillie bowl but I I got cracks in mine so I dont know what I did wrong. Also took some x-mas cookie cutters and made some ornaments.Just an idea for your upcoming videos.Hope you have wonderful day.
Hi Barbie; it’s been such a busy summer and I finally have time to film and craft again! Cookie cutter ornaments are a fabulous idea and I’m sure yours are beautiful. Sometimes clay seems to crack for no apparent reason. Other times, it may be from the clay drying too quickly. I turn my objects every few hours to help them dry more consistently. I hope that helps. Thank you for watching and I’ll see you soon!
Thank you Katherine, you are so kind! I was blessed to have my mom teach me all things crafty. I am glad you enjoyed these shabby projects and I appreciate you watching!
Wow Becky, coming at you from Green cove springs and I absolutely enjoyed the pillow! How beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.
Hi Brenda, I’m just down the road from you in Saint Johns! I love Green Cove Springs and enjoy thrifting at “Something Special” and “Treasure Box”. Then I’ll grab a bite to eat at Ronnie’s Wings. I actually bought the doily I stitched to the pillow at Treasure Box. Thanks for watching and I hope we run into each other some time!
Thank you so much Lynne! I look more like my mom as I get older. And I strive to always have her happy heart and love for everyone she met. I appreciate your kind comments!
Hello sweet friend just love all the inspiration you have given me thanks for sharing all of your beautiful projects you did a great job and you are also a great teacher. You don't even look 40 you look like you're in your 20's. And I miss my mom to so I understand how you feel thanks for sharing those beautiful treasured photos. Hope you have a blessed day and a wonderful weekend.❤🤗❤
Thank you for being so sweet! I love creating crafting tutorials and I’m glad you like them. I’m actually 57, and don’t get close enough to the camera to show all my wrinkles and gray hair 😀. I’m sorry that you’ve lost your mom too; it’s a deep pain that never goes away. I appreciate you watching and hope your weekend is fabulous too!
Thank you so much Ana! I’ve filmed another video this week with new projects using doilies. I popped over and subscribed to your RU-vid channel too. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your lovely junk journals!
Love your shabby ideas!! That mini lampshade was gorgeous!! I also love how you used large tongue depressors for your lace trim! What an excellent idea!! I'm so glad I found your channel!!
Hello SeasideCrafter! I’m glad you liked the lampshade; I think it looks so good in my bathroom. The lace trim is wrapped around extra large craft sticks I picked up from Walmart. Cheap and cute craft storage! I appreciate you watching and hope you have a fabulous week!
Really loved all your projects! I am an avid thrifter, but have never come across to doilies, but fortunately I crochet. You have inspired me to "shabby" a lampshade similar to the night light shade you did. TFS all your wonderful projects
I’m so glad you enjoyed these projects Maria! I can do many types of crafting, but I never learned to crochet. I’m sure your lampshade will be gorgeous!
I love making things with Dollies and Lace. I'm loving ❤️ the pillow. The Dollie piece s are beautiful also fabulous ideas, Thank you for sharing them with us.
Wow they all were beautiful. I love the shabby chic/ french country decor. That is what I do in my home. I have over 100 dollies that had been made for me over the years by my husband's grandmother. I can't wait to try these. Thanks for the inspiration. The pictures are gorgeous. You and your momma are beautiful ladies.
Thank you so much Becky! You certainly have a treasure with your handmade doilies and I know they will be beautiful in your crafting projects too. I’m glad you found a bit of inspiration here and hope you have a fun and creative weekend!
Love your creativity! I have never had success using the washable glue. I have only had success on fabric with mod Podge or Elmer's Glue All. I love the way yours turned out. I was thinking you may be able to make your larger bowl a little sturdier by decoupage tissue paper to the back side or actually toilet paper. The fibers would give it almost like a paper mache structure to add some stability. Just a thought. Thank you for sharing and for all the inspiration! Xoxo
Thank you so much Candice! Adding paper to the bowl is a great idea and would certainly increase its stability. I’m glad you find a bit of inspiration from these projects and I appreciate you watching!
First time viewing your video. You do beautiful projects with the doilies! My favourie is the doily pillow. A beautiful way to display your sweet memories of you and your Mom 💞
Welcome back Becky! I was on a little vacation, and returned home to see a video waiting for me from you! I was thrilled! Like you, I just adore the pillow, and that sweet night light is a close second! And thank you for sharing the photos of you and your Mom....you look a lot like her! I miss my Mom every day too, and not a day goes by when I don't think of her. Take good care, and look forward to seeing you soon! ❤❤
Thank you so much Lori; happy to be crafting with you again! I’m glad you enjoyed these little projects. The pillow looks so beautiful on my bed. I’m sorry that you’ve lost your mom as well. It’s a never ending cycle of happy memories and deep sadness. My mom taught me every crafting skill that I know, and I’m so proud and grateful! Thanks again for watching and I’ll see you soon!
Well hello Becky welcome back gosh that doily over the jar brought back alot of memories haven't made any in a while used to make doilies with curved ends the only way they would stay ruffled is heavy starch or sugared water you did that with glue and water and I thought it was so cool thank you for the memories!!!God Bless you!!!❤️
I’m so glad you liked these projects Michelle! I have the pillow on my bed and it looks so pretty there. I also think it will look great with Christmas cards this holiday season too!
So happy you are back Becky! We have all missed your beautiful creations and today is definitely no exception. The pictures are absolutely gorgeous. You look a lot like your mother.
Thank you Sabricia! Those pictures are certainly a treasure to me. I look so much like my mom now as I’m growing older. I inherited my love of doilies from her!
Thank you Zulema! I’m glad you liked the pillow too; it looks so pretty on my bed. My sisters and I all look like our mother, but I’m the one who most resembles her most 😀
Thank you SD! I used the Iron Orchid Designs Knob Toppers Stamp Set. I recently discovered that the set is sold out. They can be found on Etsy, but are priced very high. You may be able to find a similar small collection on Amazon. Prima Marketing has really pretty stamps.
