Adding Water, Lava, Swamps and More to 2D Minecraft 

This is the only Minecraft recreation project I've ever seen on YT that actually went somewhere. Awesome.

This is a wonderful project. It is a pleasure to be a part of it somehow

One thing about how Mojang did their terrain, is that they blended 2d Perlin noise with 3d Perlin noise while making the terrain shape, which let them have overhangs with mountains and hills , it'd be cool to see this shifted down a dimension for your game! Edit: grammar

This project is legitimately awesome, the thing one I find weird is how much the stars move, it makes them look more like fireflies than stars

You should add the mangrove trees to the swamps, like in the recent updates.

Although I really like your work on the "block breaking" particles, I'd prefer the particles to immediately stop when touching the ground beneath (instead of sliding on it).

If you plan on adding resource pack support, you could make it so the textures aren't together in a atlas, but when the game opens or reloads assets, it puts all textures in the atlas, just like Java edition does

i think a little bit of ambient occlusion on the background tiles could go a long way in making them feel more polished and complete

I love this project so much!

In real Minecraft, the block breaking particles spawn on the whole area where the block was, not just the bottom, so it hides the fact that the block disappears, now you can still see it disappearing, but with some extra particles at the bottom.

looks great so far! cant wait to play this when its finished.

Nice, i actually did this many times in my old gms2 minecraft thing back. And failed everytime, nice to see someone making a 2d Minecraft nowadays since I don't see a lot of that! Also for the slash suggestions: "just like the golden ages!"

Make it when you click on the create new a world button it will not immediately create a new world instead you have to pick your seed

"It's 10D" for a splash text. (It's 2D but in base 2 / binary)

This has come along so good I can't even believe it's been half a year. Great work and video! I have some dumb splash text ideas: "Hi mom!" or "Hi mom I'm on RU-vid!" or "Terrarian't". my real idea is also for the main menu, and it's the odd chance to make the title screen spell "Minceraft" instead of Minecraft. (could even be Minceraft D2 if feeling fancy). Thank you so much for these videos! And congratulations on getting so far with it, while also making it an entertaining project to watch. I can't wait to see what comes in the future. Kudos!

That project is cool , I just discovered it today and I caught up with all the past videos. Maybe next episode you could add the mushroom field biome. Also here is a list of some flash text that could be great to add : “We have Minecraft at home , Minecraft at home:” , “Paper Steve” , “it’s time to add an other biome” , “binary pasta” , “Half a year anniversary” , “totally not terraria”

Two things you could change is the color of lava which is too reddish and the ambiance of the swamps are more darker in a way

i couldn’t clearly make out how far lava would spread from a source block. by the height of the first flowing lava block it looked like a segment of 8 like for normal water. but in Minecraft water flows for 8 blocks and i believe that lava only flows 3/4 blocks

I have two suggestions for the yellow things next to the title 1. Knock, Knock 2. Hog Rider!!! I Think you should also add a light fade around the sun and moon so it looks like it is actually emitting light. I love whatching this series and can’t wait untill i can play it!
