This Video Series:
Learn how to add new framing and railing to an existing platform using Tekla Structures 2016. I had previously detailed the original platform and it has been fabricated and installed. Now they are adding to it with a couple of modifications.
Learn How To Use Tekla Structures Series:
Part 1: Modeling - Beginning with this video, I open the existing model in Tekla Structures 2016 and start adding the new framing and relocate an existing ladder. Lots of how to information and learning points.
Part 2: More Modeling - (Link • Additions To An Existi... )
Part 3: GA Drawings - (Link • Additions To An Existi... )
I hope you enjoy watching this "how to" on the 3D BIM modeling process for Tekla Structures. Very good for beginners and experienced users. If so, please 'like' this video. Also, please consider subscribing to my channel, it helps me a lot. There's plenty more Tekla Structures content and guides on the way!
Thank you!

hi, how did you set up yellow highlight in chosen object.

I think the yellow highlight is a default. I can't find a setting for it.

hi, how do you change the color. Look very nice

Double-click on the entity to bring up its properties and change the color by using 'Class'. If that doesn't work, then try opening the view properties (double-click on a blank area in the view window) and then click on the 'Representation...' button. Delete all the Object group rows and click Modify (don't save to 'standard') and see if that affects the color of your entity. If it does, then either leave the object representations blank or reload the 'standard' settings and play around with the Object Groups, Color and Transparency as well as the Object Group filters to find out which one affects your entity and modify or delete that group accordingly. Hope that helps!
