Conor, your videos and ebooks have been an invaluable resource for me as a personal trainer for my clients who have a myriad of issues that my NASM literature doesn't address in the same way you do. I appreciate your content, your knowledge and break down of anatomy and exercises. I will be purchasing more of your work as you release it. Thank you

I love the humbleness you display at the end of the video when you say … this is how you approach the issue and that there are other approaches I believe we learn more with an open mind You’re an amazing role model of so many valuable attributes Thank you May your paths continue to drip with Gold 💗💪

Great video... I had a double compensation.. where the left hip was higher functionally when standing but i really had the right QL lifting the right pelvis higher when in motion .. because of the weaker glute on the right side. Hips used to shift to left.. now they shift to the right.. which is the proper primary compensation pattern via youtube videos can address... the body is quite a compensation machine.. if u have a primary pattern that's level 1.... but if your an athlete that insists on repeating the actions.. the body might develop an entirely different compensation layer ontop of the primary layer to allow maximum function and less pain.. Fixing all that .. is absolutely maddening.... luckily im coming out of it .. Consider yourself lucky if you just have a basic primary pattern

I have a slight (not too much, but still noticeable) right shift. My body just goes slightly to the right in the hole, whenever I squat (does not matter if it's body or barbell squat). It is really annoying and bugs my squat really bad, It kills a bit my hip and glute drive. Gonna try out the mentioned rehab exercises and try to fix it. Wish me luck.

Great video Conor! I've started adressing this problem recently. I had a back injury on my left side 2 years ago which severly reduced the left sides strength and stability. I'm really right side dominated, can't internally rotate left hip and I can feel the sacrum bone being tilted to the right.

It's very common! Hope the exercises help.

Underrated youtuber. I have been doing this I and felt better. Do I have to progressive overload the sensing? or can I keep doing what I usually do like heavy deadlift, squat? Thanks in advanced.

Awesome to hear that. I generally try to incorporate positions into more loaded contexts for more specifity, but if it's working, nothing wrong with keeping on with it.

Great video! I was wondering if you are currently offering consultation for people who have problems with anything related to biomechanics, like hip shift or mobility issues? I'd definitely be interested!

Hi! Very interesting but I don’t understand very well may be. In the video you said that can exists “left shift during Sq” with the same alteration of the pelvis like the right -PRI you talk about in the other videos? (Or exist left-PRI with left shift during Sq?)

This is amazing! Any advice on how to run effectively with a Left AIC (right hip shift)? I have a ton of issues maintaining proper running form/gait. Ankle + calf strain is the biggest issue possibly due to right foot pronation ability.

Conor, may we ask what is your formal education and degree? I can't seem to find it in your website.

I have a left hip shift. I wouldn’t think much of it if it weren’t for the fact that my right leg feels extra work and seems to be developing better than the left. The weight plates slide just a touch to the right when I squat. I’ve been left leg dominate my whole life. What can I do to determine if my shift is problematic or if the “issues” are being overblown?

Hi Conor! Would squatting with the IR restricted leg elevated on a platform with toes elevated as well to bias IR and flexion?

is it possible, that my hip shift to the right side comes from driving my longboard years ago with the right foot stable on the board at all time? So the right leg/ hip is stronger than the left one and the body therefore relies more on the right side?

For LHS hip shift: Would you do the same exercises on the opposite side just to start somewhere ??? Thanks Conor great content.

Ne Lidija asimetrije su normalne i ne nužno loše nađi nekoga ko razume ovu tematiku i ko može da ti pomogne, ako imaš problema ako nemaš nemoj se opterećivati.

It doesnt apply to me i believe. I have a dissability in my right leg after brain surgery cos of a cerebral AVM. I've got clonus, hemiparesis, club foot down and lateral, spasticity, gluteus atrophy and calf atrofy. Foot is dead. I wear Antiequine. Any exercise I do without weight for my legs ends up with a left patellar tendon injury. All the job is done by the left leg. My right leg has only 40 percent of nerves attached to muscles alive, the rest is dead. My gait is unbalanced and will always be. My right leg is shorter. Right pelvis 5mm higher. Left pelvis forward and outside. Ankylosed right leg. Metatarsalgia in left foot. The only exercise I can do at the gym is leg extensions. And be very careful, the right patellar tendon has zero load capacity, since that leg is always in hyperextension And now new injuries are appearing, left hip pain when sleeping, tear in the biceps femoris doing Romanian deadlift. Pain in left shoulder that I have never had before. I better start playing Crocket.

Right hip shift here… seems my left leg has atrophied or something as it’s weaker and smaller than the right.I have huge lack of mind muscle control over the left glute. Also did Bulgarians on the left side bodyweight and my outer hip hurt when I walked only. Weird stuff. I think somethings tight in the Not sure if that has anything to do left hip area. Not sure if the size difference has anything to do with it… if anyone knows a good pt like this in la area lmk
