You know I agree with you and love what you've done in the industry truly underrated sir. But the man who raised me was white in west Virginia in Morgantown like 1 minute from west Virginia university. He was shot and killed in his own bed because 2 punks that didn't live with him committed an armed robbery had at one point lied and gave his address so cops raided his house while asleep so its west Virginia people have guns and his door was kicked in hard enough to put my mom through the wall 1 of over 10 cops fired when he was simply jumping out of his bed to react. Shot 7 times 5 in his back nothing happened cop was off 2 weeks. No operational body cams of course. But this only black men have to worry about dying to cops bs I keep hearing Is killing me. 99% of black people saying it hasn't dealt with losing anyone close by a police shooting. I have and sick of hearing people who haven't cry about the injustice bitch go through it then I'll hear you out
If you can find anybody saying "only black men die to the police" ill take your paragraph seriously. Nobody has ever said that. However, black people numerically are more likely to be killed, and injured by the police. When this was repeatedly brought to the attention of white people, most white people just looked for ways to defend cops. Your story is tragic and i feel for you, but your cant use your own story to dismiss facts and perspectives.

I did not know I have rights that you don't. Here are a couple hints on how to handle the police. Do not fight them. Do not resist. Do not pull a weapon on them. Be respectful and kind. They might let you off, unless you have done something really crappy. I thought the black community and or people were crushing it with education, hollywood, music, culture. You’re strawmanning your opposition. Nobody says, “only black ppl have to deal with police brutality”. If anyone says that, Royce would disagree with them. What we are actually saying though, is that police brutality is a problem that impacts black ppl disproportionately. This is empirically correct, especially in America. I have studies on studies to demonstrate the evidentiary value of that premise. So your story is nice, but it doesn’t speak to an argument, because empirical evidence is more valuable than anecdotal evidence when trying to identify large societal issues.
Sorry to hear that. One of the worst cases I've heard had to do with a Caucasian woman that was killed. It's a problem. I don't know how we handle this but the thing you have to understand is this... Operationally a lot has to change. If we get reform and operations changed then we all win. Plus you have to also be aware that we dark skinned people ARE targeted. We know this. The fbi knows this which is why they reported the problem in white supremacists joining law enforcement so that's why we're so upset and angry when it happens and I can understand how that might make you feel. I'd absolutely love if we could all fight this together. With no division but a lot of white supremacist types have kinda ruined that but think about it, any sort of legislation that puts a stop to police brutality and murder benefits all of society. Not just black people. Same with economic and social reform. If it benefits the most oppressed it benefits everyone. This is why I don't get when there's pushback from Caucasians on these matters.
