The VASTO adductor membrane (not “VASO adductor”) doesn’t exist in the apex of the femoral triangle. It appears where the adductor canal begins, by definition. Furthermore, the sub sartorial plexus runs beneath sartorius but above the VAM, and local anesthetic will not reliably traverse the VAM to block the SSP.
Do you perform that block before sugery or after? I guess our surgeons might not want it before operation because the catheter would be to close to the knee (desinfetion issues,etc.)
