Did yall notice the Saturn earnings and tattoo Adele has? It's something in astrology called "Saturn return" its when Saturn "returns" to the zodiac sign it was in when you were born which takes almost 30 years. It represents crossing the threshold to adulthood and that's why 30 is such a milestone age, its about reintroducing yourself to the world. This album is her Saturn return
@@tacitninjajd420 white people have not been abused & criticized bc of their skin color for literal centuries, these are not comparable. we’re not the victims here. please sit down.
This album is like a movie to me. I can’t jam to it necessarily everyday. But it truly feels like art. And when I’m in the mood to feel everything, I love to have a glass of wine and listen to it.
it's funny that u mentioned To Be Loved being a song to perform because adele has said in an interview that she probably won't ever perform that song because of the weight it carries. great reaction as always
i absolutely loved "my little love" because of how vulnerable she was. she was able to capture her emotions at that time perfectly into a song. it made me tear up as soon as i heard angelo's voice on it. "all night parking" "woman like me" and "to be loved" were my other favorites!
The voicemail at the end of My Little Love feels exactly like you two said, "I feel like I shouldn't be listening to this". It's so private, and yet it's so beautifully done as a song. As private as she is, the fact that she decided to include something like that in a song for everyone to hear speaks volumes of how much progress she's made in therapy and with herself and also I feel incredibly thankful to her as a fan for her letting us in so much into her private life

You can really hear the Amy Winehouse influence on this album, especially in Love Is A Game which I feel like has to be a direct nod to Amy. Beautiful album.
she said it wasn't, but she said she loves amy and she understands why people might see it that way, specially because of the sarcastic lyrics in some of the songs!!
Someone pointed out how "My Little Love" audio clips are bits of the conversation Adele had with her son explaining why her and his dad aren't together anymore. And the entire song takes on a whole different feel.
"When the white woman has nerve!" Oh my God, I'm literally crying from laughing so hard 😂😂🤣 Well, here is one white woman saluting you guys. I raise my wine glass to you 🍷Great reaction 😘
I waited to listen to your review. I haven't opened my download. If she doesn't get any awards, she won. It is a personal release and it was for her, not for us. She gave us her voice this time. No chaser. No banger. No remake of a prior artist. I Stan. This is incredible.
One thing I will say is I absolutely love that this whole album isn’t just a breakup album. It’s not a “whose to blame” game. This album is the deep raw side of a person out growing something and discovering self and that’s beautiful. I like that she limited her blame game to one song “woman like me” but the rest was her step by step of healing. By far Adele’s best album
Did you guys hear "I Drink Wine" was originally 15mins and the label made her cut it down? We could have had another "All Too Well" right now.. And they robbed us of that!! I'm maaaaaaad
This is the first reaction video where y’all ACTUALLY GET IT!!!! Yes!!! My little love definitely pulls at heart strings. I absolutely love “I drink Wine” the lyrics. Adele did a phenomenal job telling this/her story! This is growth from 19 and I so appreciate it. Turning 30 is an eye opener.
This Album, is a MASTER PIECE, I'm glad she took her time, usually when you do an album to quickly its not good. She let it marinate and make sure it's from her heart and the emotions involved regarding divorce, her love for her child, and what she's experiencing with the process of going through a divorce and also a new revelation with her lover!! Her voice takes you back in time, the high tone the low and how it's being said. LOVE THE FACT THAT SHES KEEPING IT REAL!! GO ON GIRLLLLLL!!!
LMFAOOO “they should have played this at the last supper” 😭😭😭 nah cause my parents have a painting of the last supper hung up in our dining room and i turned to my left and saw it as they said that💀💀
I love how ya'll give intelligent commentary on each song. Not only are you feeling it, but the insight picked up from her lyrics and the production comes across so natural in your reactions. *claps*
After listening to it a few times I read the feeling behind a lot of the songs differently, and really think the whole album is for her son to listen to when he's an adult and letting him see how she didn't leave his dad lightly but it was the right thing for her own growth, but she is shielding him from those truths just now because he is still a child. Woman like me is straight up to her ex though.
this album is just something different! will def be on repeat even more than her other iconic albums. all i know is that she's definitely winning a grammy or two for this album next year without a doubt!
For me 30 is definitely her best album yet! So emotional and beautiful ,and of course ,those incredible vocals.Already have a new fav Adele song..."To Be Loved" ,just gives me the chills!
She deserves the Grammy award really no body else can defeat her about it , she kill us totally, I can not stop my tears to no falling down 😢💜 She's really backs strong and amazing
I can't listen to my little love without crying. This album is so beautiful. It felt cathartic listening to it. The way she taps into emotions I sometimes can't myself. Wow..incredible body of work.
it's crazy how these were my exact thoughts on this album. I thought I was the ONLY person who heard the Erykah Badu influence on "All Night Parking." great album and great job, guys!
Not only does Adele give us the best vocals of her career with this album, she also gave us an unflinchingly honest glimpse into her struggle. She should be commended for her incredible bravery. Not many people would have the temerity to share such personal and painful stuff with the *entire world.*
This reaction was everything!! So many emotions with this album and it’s so nice to have someone dive into themselves and let music tell the story! It’s so much power in music.
I'm super curious how her son will react to this album when he's old enough to understand what she's singing about? She put herself out there, even more than she did in previous albums.
You can hear Amy Winehouse's influence a lot in this album. Amy was such a great and talented artist. You should react to her live (sober) performances. She was one of a kind performance.
Adele said in an interview that she'll never perform "My little love" and "To be loved" live any time near cuz those songs are too painful and sad for her
You two are so smart and I love watching your album reactions. Woman like me sounds like a bosse nova to me. It immediately made me think of Billie Bosse Nova lol
i hate that I'm so late to seeing this breakdown of such an amazing album. but WOW what an incredible reaction/breakdown, this is a true breakdown! not just sitting there and nodding heads, actually going into depth on the lyrics and topics of the songs
yess when u guys were talking about how most people are used to adeles hit tracks that work on their own as opposed to together that is 100% true. so true.
I don't understand why most reactors don't like Can I Get It at first :( Am I missing something?? That song was IMMEDIATELY one of my FAVORITES since the VERY FIRST TIME!!!! I literally got chills the first time I heard that breakdown on the chorus.
I actually think IT IS Erykah Badu singing the first two lines of All Night Parking. Adele has said before that Badu is one of her inspirations. I suspect that Badu did a secret cameo and chose not to be on the credits.
