I’d love to be part of it! I hope anyone can join since idk much about music but i’d be glad to help. I love your channel and how you help me see music in an entirely different way.
You need to listen to the Zane Lowe interview. It will be great. Also look up the Q interview with Tom Powers. More info on street team? She said she was listening to Al Green, Jeff Buckley, and others.
This entire album is so cinematic. The vintage strings allow you to listen to it with your eyes closed and lets classic black and white movies play in your head.

Your reaction for I drink wine just made me wanna give you a hug. Your silence in the climax of the song spoke massively itself and I just wanna say I really hope you can overcome the situation you are going through. Sometimes things happens for a reason and we cannot see it. Best wishes, man.
Yk this album shooked my entire core. I was stunned by the way she re-invented herself & really made a path for artists to keep making art the way they want it to be. Adele doesn't listen to her fans what kinda music she has to make, she decides & just puts it out. Whether it gets a 100 or a billion likes, she doesn't care. She is proud of her songs & does her own thing and I appreciate it so much. No artist like her.
At the end of Love Is A Game where you wanted more vocals, in the One Night Only concert she used that part to talk, thank the band etc, I saw it as like the end of a musical western where they sort of ride off into the sunset. She did say her album had to be played in sequence and got Spotify to take off the shuffle option, because its a journey. Love is a Game is when she meets Rich Paul and is happy now, in love, so that end part of the song is like a .... To be continued......
Adele’s album really surprised me. I truly think it’s a masterpiece, from the way she is able to convey her emotions in such a raw, heart wrenching form to excelling at each different sound of her songs -vintage, r&b, soul, jazz, dance pop. Her voice is so powerful, full, and rich that she doesn’t need much production behind it to captivate people, which is such an impressive feat. How she can touch people so deeply in different ways with just 12 songs is amazing. And thank you Blake for making these videos, I’ve learned so much from your musical knowledge and you offer such a unique insight, you’re always a pleasure to watch
I agree with everything u said. This album was just so unique & cool & I personally loveddd it too. & right, I love how Blake gives us a lot of insight on music that I never knew before!! It’s just really cool overall.
Thank you for this video. I feel like I'd heard Adele before, but had never *heard* Adele until this album. I'll admit I'd never listened to an Adele album in full but after she asked for spotify to remove the shuffle option because she'd carefully placed the tracks from start to finish, I decided to listen to the whole album and take it in as it was meant to, and I'm blown away at the story she is telling, its like a carefully orchestrated collective piece of music as opposed to 12 single songs on an album. I'm glad I'm not alone in this feeling. Its beautiful piece of poetic art.
Something I noticed, all her albums covers before 30 are dark, with black, gray and sepia vibes but the cover for 30 is so alive, bright but mostly powerful, compared to the others covers, translating so much the vibe of hope and the vibe of reaching a place of hurt that can transform so powerfully someone, which is the vibe/message she wants to show, i think
@@udb1987 Agreed. However, part of appreciating music is separating your expectation and following where the artists are leading you--you end up appreciating songs more deeply and at a greater variety. :)
@@EyeGlassTrainofMind What if they did separate their expectations and still don't like it? Maybe it just isn't their personal taste? We can't assume they didn't.
I Drink Wine is my absolute favorite on this album! The whole album is amazing, but that song just resonates with me on another level. ❤️ She has said that the original version is actually 15 minutes long and I’d love to hear that one!
I feel like To Be Loved, as you said, is the Finale - and Love is a Game is an epilogue to the story of the album, leaving the door open to the next stage of her life
I loveee the voice memos, the way she probably recorded parts of the song in the moment on her iPhone. more artists are gonna start doing it because its brilliant
@@xgalphaz she said in her Apple Music interview, she was worried about how much info she would tell her son about the divorce so her therapist told her to record their late night convos when he was tired and very chatty so she could replay them back and reassure her :)
It's a very mature and reflective Album, with very different songs from Adele, this album has songs, of course, ballads, but it has songs with very different styles, like: JAZZ, COUNTRY, a little R&B, SOUL, POP, a vibe 50s and 60s, GOSPEL. THIS ALBUM WILL SURELY BE THE "ALBUM OF THE YEAR", because it can be considered Art #Adele30
Really loved that Adele tried to experiment with singing in different genres. But what surprised me the most in 30 is the arrangement and instrumentals of some songs (Strangers By Nature and Love Is A Game especially) since they reminded me old-school and old-time favorite Disney cartoons with their stunningly beautiful instrumental OSTs Another thing worth a round of applause is the deepness of the lyrics and vulnerability Adele showed in My Little Love and To Be Loved songs. Both songs were like an emiotional roller-coaster; hearing the pain in her voice, realizing how challenging her life was after the divorce is really heart-wrenching and im glad she shared that bunch of emotions with us, listeners. Amazing album, great comeback!
Currently on I Drink Wine and I see that it hit you hard. The silence. The moment you wanted to talk about the production to calm down, but didn't even know what to say.. We see you! It's been 2 months since this video came out, so I hope you're doing better! All the love man! This album is a rollercoaster, I can't wait to see how the rest will make you feel.
I ugly cried seeing you react to I Drink Wine and To be loved. 😂😭 that gasp of air you did during one of the last “let it be known” during to be loved showed how much you felt it ♥️♥️♥️
Honestly it was so nice just to hear you talk about music and just sitting and feeling the album. That's exactly what Adele wanted people to do from song 1 till the end, in order, to appreciate the journey she went on with the album! Definitely subscribing to the channel!!
Adele's new album 30 is completely different than any of her previous CD'S. All the Tracks are great. I felt really emotional with My Little Love it was sweet her talking to her precious little boy. I wasn't prepared for the part when she was crying & saying how she felt she described feeling really lonely, frightened. It made me cry I felt her pain. I realized, that I feel just like that it's a painful place to be. She was just so, raw & vulnerable, honest. I love this album it's really helping me as, I'm going through a lot I'm on a self searching journey of my own. Valerie
I am completely held captive by this album. I’m moved in different ways with every listen. “ To Be Loved “ tore my heart out. “Love Is A Game” could have been recorded by Garland in the 50’s- however, I have read that it’s really a nod to Amy Winehouse. Just absolutely BRILLIANT.
Check out her interview with John Mayer that was released in the past week. She told him her vocal track is her FIRST time through the song with someone on the piano or guitar - just the two of them. Then the other aspects of production are added it in later. She said she doesn't record with the band at the same time because the first time through is the most honest/emotional.
Can I just say that I’ve been yearning to talk about this album with someone. Although it’s verbally one sided here, it is releasing pent up excitement about this album. The comment section is also amazing. I’m so happy to find people who enjoy this album and have appreciated it in full. Adele is my favourite therapist, but being here feels like she’s our favourite.
I hope that you get over your problems soon. You come across as a very warm and sincere person. Really enjoyed your revue. I adore this album especially I drink wine. It lifts me up so high.
Great reaction Blake, 'To be loved' is a masterpiece! The whole album is great but that song👌you should react to the raw cut of the song Adele put out on RU-vid.
Oh I was looking forward to this react. The production and storytelling in this album are soooo intense and innovative. I knew you’d be the one to really appreciate it. No wonder why youtube put this on first screen for me.
Your reactions are always so insightful, not only with technical aspects of the production, but you're also still able to focus on the meaning and emotion of the music, especially here with Adele. Thanks for sharing your insight, and wishing you the best with whatever you may be going through.
I so enjoyed listening to your dialogue for this album - it really gave me another perspective to listening to this album - can't wait to watch more - this was so kool...
Oh my gosh it’s like you literally read my mind I was just watching your reaction to easy on me and wondering if you were going to react to Adele’s whole album and then I refresh and I see you uploaded!!! I’m so happy I love your reactions I’m gonna keep watching now haha
Loved to see how you experienced the journey that is this album ✨🎶 To listen and watch ur reaction both sonically and lyrically as a producer, and to listen along with you, and myself, learning how to just feel the music and listen to that feeling. It is very refreshing way to appreciate music 😌💙
The no vocal at the end of love is a game reminds me of the end of a musical when the cast run out and bow to the audience, then the last “I’ll do it all again” is like her encore coming back out to the crowd :)
I just wish it didn’t have the moan, like I get it’s showcasing her change of mindset and freedom to do as she pleases, but something about the chorus doesn’t work for me. But that’s just me!
It’s always very interesting to watch you review songs as you are a producer. You have interesting views on how the instruments are used, how the songs are structured etc. Thank you! x
ADELE 30 is a brilliant masterpiece, she is one of a kind♥️ she will sweep the Grammys again with this album♥️ To Be Loved is my favorite song on the album, her gorgeous songwriting matches that gorgeous voice♥️ I was like you how is any song going to follow To Be Loved, and Love is Game was the perfect song to end that soul journey ADELE takes you on, I thought the same thing as you it sounds like a Sinatra or Streisand song from the 50’s and 60’s♥️ I cried the emotions she brought out in me is the mark of a brilliant artist, it’s a WOW♥️
WOW!!So glad my friends turned me on to your channel I'm a new subscriber after watching this reaction to Adeles 30 CD.What a brilliant peice of work.I have followed Adele from her first release and I remember saying to myself what an amazing voice and with this new CD she's taken the world by storm. I couldn't agree more with your reaction to such a masterpiece 👏
I just freaking love your face reactions.. The joy that shines in your eyes, with every texture every sound every trick that were place in each song. Subscribed :)

You’re right music is an incredible language and has got me through so many difficult periods in my life. I like your honesty so I’ve subscribed to hear more from you.
I really appreciate your reactions focusing on the music. A lot of people I see react just focus on how sad the songs are (often lyrically) but I really like getting the in depth analysis of what’s going on musically: what influences, styles, etc. are going into to the production.
so i know this is months later, but i feel like “to be loved” IS the finale, but “love is a game” is the song that plays during the credits or the bows. as a final final. a wrap up of the show, movie, or in this case album
Loved your take on her album! I Drink Wine seems like an instant classic to me. It obviously spoke to you too. Music does that. Looking forward to what you & Jacob Restituto might be up to! You both have such kind hearts & winning personalities!
Not gonna lie. Sorta feel in love here. You have a wonderful ear for musical expression and you definitely helped bring out the albums unique qualities. You’re adorable as well and I love the kitty. Sending you all the good vibes I can spare and here’s to a better tomorrow. Cheers!!
All these videos of yours are very enjoyable to watch. The way your reaction is always done in a positive way and how you are very knowledgeable. It's so cool
I really enjoyed this reaction! I have seen other reactions and have felt as if they didn’t understand Adele or the music to the level you did. As soon as you compared it to a song that would be on Disney i yelled me too 🥰 I thought that the first time I heard it as well. Instant subscribe from me!
She said in an interview "To Be Loved" will never be sung live, that she can't. She did post a video singing it while sitting on a couch, and posted it on IG. Nov. 17, check it out, it's phenomenal.
Just subbed, I watch a lot of reaction videos but I love how you make me really tune in to the whole arrangement. She's an icon, can I get it is my fave on the album...but I love the whole shabang 😀
On to be loved I LOVE that you made the connection to Across the Universe movie. That was my first thought when hearing this masterpiece and it made me cherish this song even more. Spon on assessment and beautiful reaction.
subbed mate, such a good reaction video, riding that line between passion and technical breakdown but also not editing the video so we can still hear the whole songs.
Your reaction to this entire album is just what Adele wanted, in her Oprah Winfrey interview she said that she thinks and wants to this album will help people go through what they're going through especially Hold On ❤
Yes love is a game is one of my favorites and it reminds me of like the end of a movie or musical where its a big song and a drown away ending. So good. She is just incredible
You've got a fan for life in me. The way you broke this down and felt every element of the song... a breath of fresh air. I feel like Judy Garland would've sung the hell out of some of these songs.
