Angelina jordan was in nappies / dypers when she performed jazz . she adores amy and Adele . and has covered both .she is now aged 17 and just released a EP of original music .
@@toddhoward5555 Angelina will be 18 January 10th she has already experienced life experiences , who hasn't that age . ?she's been channelling soul since she was aged 7 .she needs your support NOW .
Frank was an innovative blend of jazz, hip hop drums and brutally *frank* yet also witty lyricism. Back to Black, sonically, is little more than 50s/60s soul/pop/Motown pastiche (ahem, Ronson) with less humour and more misery lyrically. Artistically, B2B was a regression. Also Rehab is her worst song.
@@Chimera-zx5uc I have to agree with all you said. I personally didn’t care for Rehab but it was a hit that really made her popular in the US. I, for one, was completely mesmerized with the Frank album when I first heard ‘Moody’s Mood For Love’ around ‘04.
Adele is only 5 years younger than Amy. I like Adele but to me, there is no greater, talented and phenomenal female British singer than Amy. She is the BEST! Amy was a very talented, beautiful and sweet . Outwardly she may look fierce, but she was too fragile emotionally to handle the industry that it destroyed her. She wasn't able to fight back with others so she took it out on herself. RIP Amy. You will never be forgotten.❤❤❤
I'm an extremely down to earth person, but when I watch a video of Amy's my heart just breaks over the beauty and the loss of her. Her voice is unparallelled and the music business should have treasured it as did her fans.
Thank you Adele for speaking and sharing your feelings on what it means to not listen to the artist's voice in real time to know & experience in your life to listen as you try to sync your soul to their voice, their words, and finally, their melody. Also, I appreciate you speaking of Amy's greatness and only speaking from a Artist's position, since many people that claim they love Amy and are a fan of her work are fake to me, therefore all I ever notice around the time she was alive is people attacking her for being a druggy and judge her for that. Over all, F a whole lot of them and I do wish every person that spit & judge suffer the same fate as she did because she did not need toxicity from shitty pretenders.
@@carlamarquez3972What the heck. I don’t really know its roots, I know that it was unique and natural And her accent is great...to me she's British with a wonderful sense of Soul
I didn't either, but I made the choice, that as someone I loved, I couldn't of watched her live and not been heart broken. It would've gone against how I felt, in that the people around her (the business side) were just in it to make money. Her welfare was second to making money from her. I appreciate she was a strong willed independent young woman, but still it was my feelings at the time. I remember seeing those near to her end photos, the ones of her abroad, looking so so much healthier and I was so hopeful she had turned a corner - which I think she had to some extent. Then the bombshell news, we had lost her xx
but black to black was a real heartbreaker album,so when you hear it now it makes you sad for amy again, frank album makes you think wow amy sure did make it and she sure was a true raw talent in everyway for such a young girl....rip amy
Thank you, Adele! Frank was the best record of Amy. "You should be stronger than me." i loved that record, and she called her boyfriend gay. Priceless!!
When i heard adele songs for th first time it reminded me about amy and her music, i feel in lpve with adeles songs and i still losten to her music, thank you for recognizing Amy Frank Album as the greatest albums then back to black i totally agree with this statement
Frank was a amazing album and I was such a metal head when that album came out. She really was a hell of a talent and adele has helped her spirit soar to a degree, with her spunk, soul and life and realness. I do not even listen to Adele but if someone put her own, her voice is too good to skip ahead. I wish adele and amy would have had a chance to collaborate. That could have been rad, esp if they did a extra London gal version Nancy's "Boots are Made for Walking". They would have brought their own magic. 😉😢❤
I did not know who Amy winehouse was but whenever I heard her voice I stopped what I was doing and listened to her.. Man was she gifted.. She's definitely one of the greats and definitely missed..
Ffs she is NOT British she is English and she would Absolutely flatten you for saying it’s ‘cute’ you are obviously American. From Country with fuck all history. England is and will always be the superior country and English people the Superior population
I'm not the only one !! Adele can easily do jazz and become a jazz singer like amy. It would be incredible if she would allow her self to make that transition in music . It not only suits her voice very well & will do great! but her & amy both naturally have that jazz tone to their voices . adele just needs to believe in herself cause i can see her doing jazz later on she should test the waters . Cause her voice is similar in some ways to amy would be amazing!!
Your opinion is yours. I'll only chime in and say that some others worthy of consideration in the songwriting department are Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Laura Nyro, Kate Bush, Sade Adu, Mariah Carey and Lianne La Havas. In my opinion of course. I had the good fortune to meet Amy when she was 20 and on the come up. I miss her presence and her talents, particularly as a songwriter.
Always felt she was inspired in making 'Love Is A Game' by Amy's 'Love Is A Losing Game', that George Michael said was pure genius 'lyrically'. So much to that point, George would perform it in his concerts on a regular basis. Adele's song is excellent, but doesn't hold a candle to Amy's.
The interviewer is a friend of hers, and they’re having afrank conversation, no pun intended. It’s a real conversation, not something glossy for the cameras
The amount of time Zane lowe just hits out with shit in the hope that its true is staggering. You can tell Adele wasnt influenced by Amy Winehouse in the slightest for this song but just humoured his bullshit
lol I personally don’t like the fact that he interviews vapid acts like selena gomez the same way he interviews a proper artist. As though they all put all these deep thoughts into their albums and have gone through trials and tribulations in the making of them.
@@gas-lyghtchristianson-ashl5041 yeah there are those but those similarities are not what I was referring to. I referring to similarities in their personalities and their similar taste in music.
What is “all” that Adele has been through?? Signing off on divorce papers and petty coparenting drama? Not getting the exact seat she wanted for the Lakers?😂
Phenomenal voice, but a total and unnecessary potty mouth. Each to their own, but it’s disgusting to me to hear a woman swearing so much for no reason whatsoever.
@@saintgermainespejo815yes adele is very very talented, but she herself never shy to said like "i owe 90% of my career to her.." yes, 90% because amy made her to picked up her guitar and write her own songs just like amy and keep true to her art. if adele isnt a talented, then no matter how big impact that amy has impact her, it wouldnt work if your not that talented musically.
Haha, the constant urge to compare women to each other, tearing one woman down , cause that's the only way you can build another woman up etc. Amazing how people just can't change this. I guess it's an instinct when it comes to women.
Imagine Amy was with us still, she would be wiping every single award around. Beyonce/Adele would be a laughing stock against Amy , and before you sstart that is just my opinion.
