How old are the seedlings you selected for root training? What is that solution in which you had dipped the cut base before planting? Can you pl clarify?

Which bottle do you talk? Did you mean the cover bottle? If yes, the idea of put this is for the root start to grow around the cover tho create a flat root.
I try doing this and never grows, but in my case was one parte of the root that I replant, maybe in this case when the root still have some caudex I believe that it will grow again.
Ok I gotta ask, why is your calcium carbonate red/orange, when it should be white. It looks like iron oxide powder. I did a search for calcium carbonate powder, its all white from hundreds of suppliers, but one had red, and said it was iron oxide powder. I have 3000 adeniums ready to bonsai.....I need a lot of powder.
@@Agribuzz You mean that there is a certain amount of red clay mixed in? Calcium carbonate is white, worldwide. Limestone, egg shells, pure marble.....white.
This cover is only for awhile to keep the plant moisturize to help the root to start to grow, maybe two weeks it will depends how quick the plant developed or till you see some leaves.
I used and works, the only difference is the caudex from seed is more large than the plant stick, so it's better you plant a stick and wait for the root appear than when you'll replant use a flat vase and add some cover in the botton of the root to help the roots expand on the sides and then you can replant again when the root are more developed and raise the root that is already created and always keep any flat cover under the root to avoid that the root grows deep, and your plant get a nice caudex you can cut to force create more brunchs and looks like a little tree.
