ADEQ Water Quality Assessment and Monitoring 

Aravaipa Canyon Wilderness is a 19,410 acre area located about 120 miles southeast of Phoenix, Arizona, in Graham and Pinal counties. It is one of twenty-seven stream sites ADEQ’s Assessment and Monitoring team is currently sampling . ADEQ gathers important information about the water quality conditions so any problems such as the presence of bacteria can be assessed. The goal is to effectively gather data on this stream and many others so Arizonans can use the water to recreate, irrigate and drink.
