I've seen a lot of people hating on the new direction of this shoe, but it makes sense when you look at the other shoes in Adidas' lineup. I think Adidas realized that people are willing to buy a whole rotation these days, so you can push some shoes towards different extremes, knowing that people are going to buy multiple pairs for different types of runs. The Boston is no longer the do-it-all it used to be. It's now the slower trainer that you'll have to pair with the faster Adios. And that doesn't even cover the elite racers, recovery shoes, etc. that people will shell out for on top of that. It's not that I necessarily agree with this, but that's just where the market has taken things. Running shoe culture has gotten a bit out of hand these days.
Damn... They look great, i would use them for walking, you said durability is really good, i like that... I had a problems with ultraboosts. Are they same in sizing? Are they getting dirty? Or is it hard to keep them clean? Problems with ultraboost is that, they become quickly yellowish😏
Almost no one likes this shoe. And when you have to pitch it as "the heavy, rigid shoe with too much going on, that might kind of get you ready for race day on some daily training runs, but definitely not a shoe you want to race in, so leave it on the shelf" (paraphrasing, but that's basically it), it's clear that this one is a bust.
