I missed my chance in getting these the first day it launched in Canada as I was busy looking at other launches. When I remembered later at night, it was all sold out online at Adidas Canada. I called the Toronto’s Adidas Originals store and they didn’t have them in stock. But when I stumble into the store a few days ago, they finally had them and only with the last few pairs in the sizes that I wanted. This is the latest and updated version of one of Adidas’ most iconic shoe. Implemented another modern upgrade, these are the Adidas Stan Smith Boost PK ‘Primeknit’ that I have here for a review.

I always like how you go into the background/history of the materials or the shoe in general instead of the cliche "Yooo these are straight fire!!!" type reviews where a particular shoe is hyped means its automatically good (when that's not always the case). Reviewing under the radar shoes like these Stan Smith PK Boosts and giving an honest opinion on them helps a lot. I bought the regular Stan Smith Boosts because of your last review and love those over NMDs (though I was already biased since Stans are my all time favorite shoes).

NMDs are nice and comfortable, but I personally don't think they are as 'extremley' comfortable as a lot of people say they are.

Was really hyped for the idea of a Stan Smith PK boost and now they've released. Honestly I like them but what I don't like is the green heel tab and how it just goes straight across instead of having that curve at the bottom. Hopefully they release a v2 with that curve and the adidas logo with the stan smith lettering on the green heel tab in the future

Very nice review S2. I love that your description is well thought out and articulate. It shows that you take the time to study the shoes and plan out a concise and accurate description of them. Nice job! I think I will stick to the original old school leather Stan Smith version, but it's nice to see Adidas rework the model and offer alternate versions of them while still maintaining the original details and profile that have made the Stan Smith an iconic shoe.

The OG store manger in my region was "smart" enough not to order these in because of the leather top version surplus. What he couldn't fathom was no one bought the leathers because they were waiting on the PK... Great review again. Those are gonna kill for summer.

yeah, I had to go true to size on these as well, went 1/2 down initially but the the edge of the boost was making my feet uncomfortable.

I bought a pair from the Adidas factory shop in Portland, Oregon in 2017, absolutely love them and they only get worn during my summer vacations. Must admit that they're not the comfiest for long walks but fitted gel insoles to them and can go all day long in them, just wish that they'd re-release them so I could purchase another pair.

Nice vid. I was having trouble deciding whether I should go w/ pk or not. I ended up going with the classic leather upper. I also have wide feet and I like that they have a insole and are more versatile

Great review again. These look strange though for some reason. The tongue is a little too long maybe? Also, the boost on this and the non-pk version sticking out at the front and back just looks a bit "off". With the other boost models where the edges are rounded they look alright, with this where it's flat, that styrofoam look becomes a bit weird for me

Anyway you can post a vid wearing one of each (Stan smith Boost vs. PK Stan smith Boost) for visual purposes? I too am wide-footed and want to see how much your foot spills on the side lol.

the boost isn't just one piece of flat boost, it has a lip that stick up all the way around which your feet are meant to rest inside. If your feet are wide (mine also) the primeknit will stretch to fit comfortably, but the edges of your feet will be sitting on the lip making it uncomfortable.

If wide feet, I would suggest doing the leather ones, they fit better for wide feet people. Whereas these PKs, you can see my feet spilling out already and if you don't like that look, be cautious.

I didn't like the Stan Smith boost(leather) the 8 felt like a 9 and the 7.5 was ok but no sole = no arc support so so made my feet feel flat and hurt, Gave me blisters and slightly tight at the toes so returned them. Maybe these will be Better but the flat inside is making me think twice

Flat soles are really bad for your bones and articulations, but you can buy a pair of insoles with arc support.

Great review. I enjoyed it. But I think those are ugly tho. I did anticipate these for a long time. Boost + PK + Stan smith = WIN. However, they're pretty ugly IMO
