Buying an ultraboost is like buying a phone now. It’s like choosing between pro & pro max. Lol Aww man…. My Mt. Rushmore food/take out spots: Nation’s Giant Hamburgers (local spot) Fire Wings (local spot) Mountain Mike’s Pizza (local spot) Any burrito/taco truck I agree. In N Out is overrated. Tourists hella hype it up. Regardless…. Overrated but, still holds a special place in my heart cause, I’ve eaten it since I was a kid.

Now I want tacos.

This is what happens when you have 2 different manufacturers, one got the Ultraboost right and the other was supposed to make a Supernova but added the incorrect midsole

QOTD: Pho, Popeyes, Chipotle, thin crust pizza. It makes sense that there are "caged" and "uncaged" versions of the UltraBoost 5, because adidas has done that in the past. It's just weird to me that they came out in similar colorways with slightly different details. I'm curious how these new running-centric models feel in terms of their lateral stability. I think the 1.0 was the most structured model, but since then, the Primeknit has gotten so soft and stretchy that if I'm running on a sidewalk and turning 90 degrees at a street corner, I can feel my foot getting right up to the edge of the midsole, or even sliding a little bit over the edge. It's why I ultimately stopped running in UltraBoosts--the upper is so pliable that I feel like I've got a midsole strapped to my foot rather than being contained within a shoe. Hopefully now that adidas is going in a supershoe direction with these, that will change. Thanks for the video! Let's celebrate Monday 🙄 with this comment and a like above.

5x is more for running, 5 for casual. I’d grab the 5 for the cage so I can loose lace how I want. I wish the 5 got rid of the plate too to make it more “cushy”. EDIT again.. the regular 5 def looks better

The Habit in California is a great spot. Jersey Mikes is fantastic but there’s an Italian deli called Mario’s in Glendale been open 60 years amazing subs. If you like In n out, try getting extra toasted buns , Animal Style, and add Chopped Chilies on your order ,amazing value.

I think its nice they options like this bc I know a lot of runners who want that feeling of 'no restriction' on their foot vs other runners who want the feeling of containment

In Germany, this thing is already kinda sold out in black/white with the magenta & yellow color scheme, cause it was part of the official Olympian Athlet equipment and literally all the german Athlets were wearing these shoes during Paris 2024 😂

Weight matters when it comes to running shoes. Boost midsole is very heavy for runners, but this update has thicker foam and lighter. Ultraboost light looks like it has thick midsole but it is not, also it is very heavy compared to this. 5x boost foam is thicker, softer, and more lighter.

Anyway, QOTD - im not sure if its because i'm a not american, or if the food is better now, but when i went to the states 12yrs ago and tried In & Out in Florida, i thought it was over rated. Fast food over here in Australia tastes much better.

As for the question of the day….in n out is definitely overrated. I LOVE Super Duper Burger….but I don’t know if they are up in Sac or Elk Grove. They might be a Bay Area thing only since they are not in LA either. I love them so much I place them over Shake Shack, and I really like shake shack. I’m not putting cost into play because the recent inflated pricing for all fast foods are ridiculous!!! Having to pay $4 for a sausage McMuffin was the last straw. Anyway…my mt Rushmore would be Super Duper, Popeyes, Jack in the box, Dave’s Hot chicken, Krispy Krunchy Chicken…with an honorable mention to Shake Shack and Hot Boys Hot chicken sandwich….I think they have one in Sac. They're gonna release both 5 and 5x on July 18 at 12 midnight on the Adidas app here in the Philippines. So maybe that will also be the global release. Both versions have men's and women's sizes loaded up.

I honestly think it’s kinda a waste to have these two different versions. We’re talking about a few ounces. One of them should have a lower stack height for those who want more road feel underfoot to differentiate between the two or have some sort of stability block in the midsole like some of the ASICS shoes.

Adidas UBs had an "uncaged" version that they called UB Uncaged... why do they have to change it to an X"?
