Today we're gonna take a look at the Adidas Y-3 ARC RC. One of my favorite silhouettes among my collection. The shoes has a futuristic design with a sleek streamline.
Let's start with the material, the upper consists of coated Textile and a Leather patch sit on top of the toe area. Moving on to the side, another leather patch runs across half the length of the shoes. This leather is different than the one on the toe area. The black mesh section was fused with the textile covers the heels area of the shoes.
The lacing system across the upper has a unique pattern. It acts like a bridge connect two sections of the shoes.
In contrast, the white leather patch with the black embossed Y-3 logo sitting on top of the tonge.
Continue on the back, the heel area was constructed with a leather overlay accompanied with another embossed Y-3 logo.
The TPU overlay was utilized throughout the shoes where the 2 material meets creates a sophisticated look overall.
The soles at the bottom of the shoes has a bumpy pattern to help gaining more traction. With the help of Torsion System like in Ultraboost model, you can feel the support in every step but it still
is a bit stiff for my liking.
Regarding the fit, I find this pair has a snug fit so If you can't try them in store, stay TTS with your other Y-3 shoes or half size down from your normal Adidas size.
