I wasn't a fan of the Mr Khan spin-off, but the character was fantastic in Bellamy's People. Beautifully observed and played. Adil Ray is a great character actor.

Absolutely brilliant as both characters. There are so few comedians who play different people in the way Lenny Henry does (or did) and Simon Brodkin as Lee Nelson. How refreshing to see an Asian guy doing it. I find it very funny, some don't, but that's their choice.
To be fair he is taking the piss out of Pakistani culture and some Pakistanis interpretation of their faith but I don't think he is insulting the religion itself
wow looking at this it seems that pakistanis aren't as marginalised and abused by societies in england after all..i mean, i watched a video about some muslims getting abused by teens on the streets in bristol? i dunno what you call em, chavs? i hope pakistanis are welcome in the UK,its always been my dream to go there,in a couple of years for university :) i live in singapore btw.
I agree with most of what you say. It's a good laugh but some thing's that iv seen in CK while uncontrollably laughing my ars off are just truly shocking and just DO NOT happen in a Pakistani home. These inclusions are there to simply desensitize!
moally55 it’s not suppose to represent a genuine family , it’s just for fun , do you remember Faulty Towers that is not how a hotel owner behaves but it was funny !
