Shit, all you need to say "see ya" to your dignity is 5 bottles of IPA, a white russian, a sip of an Old Fashioned and a shot of whiskey to chase it all. Needless to say, this concoction WILL put your ass in the hospital like it did me and will act like a liquid MIB mind-wipe device for the past 2 hours. In all due honesty, I'm pretty sure there was more drinks but I completely forgot.

There is nothing wrong with the way he used the barspoon. Remember, he poured 7-up into the glass. You don't want to agitate the drink too much, as the soda can lose it's carbonation. Some people don't even stir these drinks, they just build them in the glass, and serve.

S2k2003 Historically, you're not even supposed to "mix" in any way a drink that as soda is added to it. You're supposed to mix everything, then add the soda. Usually, you also stir a drink because you want it cold, mixed, without a cloudy texture. The final "stir" he did actually did nothing to the drink beside looking prettier

How do you know how to stir a drink?

Stirring is the act of swirling a bar spoon in a rotation in order to get a drink colder without having a foamy texture, one like you'd get from a Shaker. Thing is, you're suppose to shake a Long Island Iced Tea since you have a sour in it, and you want it implemeted in a light texture. Also, only the "cola" should be added at the end after everything has been correctly shaken : The cola is added, not mixed. The fact you attempt to stir a drink that you put 4 kinds of alcohol, sour mix, and cola in it, is like putting everything in a glass and serving it. When you order a Long Island Iced Tea, you order the labour and the alcohol. This is just foolishly done here.
