A simple variation on the Long Island Iced Tea. Substitute in blue curacao in place of the triple sec and voila - an electric blue, potent cocktail crudely named the Adios Motherf***er (or better known as the AMF).

INGREDIENTS
- 22.5mL Vodka (0.75 oz)
- 22.5mL Gin (0.75 oz)
- 22.5mL White Rum (0.75 oz)
- 22.5mL Blanco Tequila (0.75 oz)
- 22.5mL Blue Curacao (0.75 oz)
- 22.5mL Sour Mix (0.75 oz)
- Dash of Lemon Lime Soda
METHOD
Sour Mix:
1 Part Fresh Lemon Juice
1 Part Simple Syrup
Long Island Iced Tea:
1. Combine all the ingredients to your cocktail shaker (except soda)
2. Shake with ice
3. Strain over fresh ice into a high ball glass
4. Top with a dash of lemon lime soda
5. Garnish with a slice of lime or lemon

The Alabama Slammer I remember is a shot of Southern Comfort in a rocks glass with a splash of sprite. You cover with a coaster, slam it on the bar and drink it while it fizzes.

When I make it I usually add a bit more sprite it covers up the alcohol a lot better more than just the splash of it. Another variation I made on it was a splash of grenadine to add a little red color to it.

Nothing beats a frank and honest tasting note, my friend. Thank you for your candor, this looks very unappealing. I love the bitter drinks, if you're going to go sweet, go balanced. My favorites include: Jungle Bird, German Vacation, Cuban Heal, Montenegro Mule, Witches' Daiquiri, Witches' Swizzle, and the Adriatique-anything with amaro and fruit juice. Made one of these recently. I have an 18yo son, and this is right up his alley. For me, not so much. I used good quality spirits (save for cheap Blue Curacao) which made it more agreeable, but in the end, was not a great use for quality spirits!

We love to get these at happy hour at our local Mexican restaurant! They run $4 U.S. apiece and the bartender does them right! That with a bunch of nicely priced appetizers of large proportion make a great date night out for me and the wife!

I like to use 1oz each liquor ,1&1/2 oz lemon juice and 1&1/2 oz simple syrup. You'll need a bigger glass but that ratio works really well

Hey Steve, I was scrolling through your channel yesterday and realized you don't have a Mudslide video yet. It was pretty easy to find another video, but honestly my entire cocktail menu at home is just your videos, so I wouldn't mind seeing your take on a Mudslide. Maybe even a Mudslide special, where you break into a few variations? That would help with getting away from bitter drinks for a bit (although I like them just as much, personally).

I double the sour mix when I make it and it tastes lovely. I’m not a massive fan of Long Island iced tea because I don’t like coke so this makes a nice substitute.

You should try making the Liquid Marijuana. It contains Coconut rum, spiced rum, Midori melon liqueur, sweet and sour mix, pineapple juice, and lastly Blue Curaçao. I don't remember the measurements off the top of my head. The green colour of the drink gives the cocktail its name.

I made a variant substituting orange (or pineapple) juice for the sprite, which turns it green. Called it Kermit Spit. I did, however use equal parts liquor to non liquor. Have also heard the blue variant called a "Walk me home sweet Jesus"

It’s so funny. Where I’m from they call this a blue motorcycle. I’ve been bartending for 12 years and this year was the first time someone called it an AMF. I live in a vacation resort town so I usually hear all sorts of names for the same drinks. Somehow, this one escaped me! 🤣

It's possible that the coke helped hide the taste of the alcohol. The Sprite just enhances the flavor of the alcohol.

Coke, amd.any of the LIIT variants have the liquors masked by the mixer. The 7UP/Sprite used for this drink doesnt have a chance! Other than the color, this drink serves one purpose...to make your bartender wonder where you're going to puke! Lol

Christina Feigner He used almost 4oz of alcohol and lemon juice. I always add equal parts of lemon juice and simple syrup and almost 2oz of sprite. THAT makes it more pleasant.

I made this a while back and I liked it a lot. Certainly up there with the original Ice Tea and Tokyo Tea. Mine wasn't particularly strong, mostly because I went for 1.5cl per ingredient and still topped up the glass with Sprite. The Sprite helps to tame the alcohol a bit and make the drink more accessible. I do the same with Iced Tea, the tiny tiny dash of Coke before serving it, just to give it that "ice tea color"? Yeah no, that just does not cut it if you ask me. Just top up the damn thing, it'll still look fine and taste MUCH better.

Steve, I hear ya. My variation drops the tequila, uses more fresh citrus and allows for more lemon lime soda. It makes a much more pleasant drink. AMF ¾ oz Smirnoff Vodka ¾ oz Aviation Gin ¾ oz Bacardi Silver Rum ¾ oz Blue Curacao ½ oz lemon juice ½ oz lime juice ½ oz simple syrup top with lemon lime soda

What makes this so strong is how strong the Curacao is against the light amount of the lemonade.. BC always pops out when it's equal or more part. I think for people who want to make this, just add more mixer to it and a little less ice. Much less by the book but Curacao is very much such a harsh taste.

in a bigger glass with more sprite would of balanced this well. This is definitely a faster way to get lit tho For a glass that size, next time try 15ml/.5oz for all the spirits, 22.5ml lemon, 15ml sugar/simple syrup. Thats how we make long islands at the bar I work at.

Honestly I think the error is in how your adding equal parts of your sour mix going heavier on that really masks the alcohol and if you get it right you don’t end up with a sour tart mess I usually 2-1 it with the rest of my liquors so in mine I got .5 oz of my liquors and 1oz of simple syrup and 1 oz of lemon juice

That’s waaaay to much sugar for me.. it’s just the style of drink that I’m not a fan of. I used the same ratios with the standard Long Island and that was spot on (for me - but of course maybe not for others)..

Steve the Bartender I just find that a traditional Long Island made like that with a nice lemon peel expressed over top isn’t as sweet as you might think with the amount of simple syrup I’d give it a try and see what you think
