IF YOU DON'T SEE COLORS ON YOUR SQUARES: for the fixture in question, make sure the Master Dimmer dmx control is at 100% and the shutter control is on a mode that allows color. I had to change these 2 to make the color show up even for just basic par lights.

alt + click in the live tab to add scenes to the show window. there is also a triggering section for midi in the properties window of the editor. two things i found to save me time.

Thanks for your video. Very informative. I have an issue that I hope you can help me with: I use the LIVE icon to control my scenes. It works fine for a few weeks, then clicking on the scenes don't do anything and I can select multiple scenes. I have to go back using the EDIT button to use my scenes but of course, I don't get fading, etc. I can't find anything that has changed. I'm not sure where to turn. Thanks for any help you can give.

How can you link or trigger scenes or certain lights to the snare, toms, and kick drums or the keyboard? There are songs that I need to have certain lights to flash as the band is playing.

Is there any way we can create a master dmx channel/ sub master to control intensity of particular fixtures while operating in live? I know we can control the intensity using midi controller but anything specifically for just software ? Thanks in advance!

Hey Brandon, nice video's. I have a question. Have you run into an issue where the Show file you have created is too big for the software to open? I have a lot of small show files for my the individual lights that I use. But when I attempt to import all the shows into one single file the file size is around 150mb. At that point the file no longer opens or if it does open crashes the software if I attempt to edit one of the scenes. Thanks again for the info, you have been very informative.

My general tab doesn’t allow me to change the color, also none of them are highlighted... one of us is missing a step

Hello, I am trying to create a scene on MYDMX 3.0 where I have the following steps: 1. Purple lights using a circle pan-tilt effect but want this to run for 3 minutes 2. Same as step 1 but lights are pink 3. Same as step 3 but lights are white Not sure how to have my pan-tilt effect run at 5 seconds but have the colour stay for 3 minutes and then change to a second colour for 3 minutes and then to a third colour for 3 minutes. Please help!

For the life of me I can’t remember how to make my show come up at startup automatically, I have to do, file, open recent files and click it each time. Anyone help me out?

Hopefully someone replys lol. I following this step by step. Im tk the part where i should be setting my red fader on red wash abd mu 12p hex faders are not armed nor will the turn on individually via the fader channels. The off button is not active.
