Just added two Stinger II to our new and improved light rig. Tonight is the first event. I'm excited! I programmed them into our DMX system last night. Thanks for the review. I may try to find a couple of used Stingers, as the white strobe could be useful. Thanks for the review!
I love the stinger but my party guest don't care for the white strobes, black light strobe is amazing! selling the stinger 1 and picking up the 2! Great videos, you are DJ Gold!
Thanks for great videos! Can you switch on the sound control mode via DMX? So go from pre programmed to sound controlled state? Seems to be missing on the Quad Phase - certainly when I try to control it via Cuety. Thanks C
Thanks for the excellent comparison. But which one is better? I'm ready to buy, but I think I'm going to go with the original Stinger because the white leds are more powerful than the uv leds and I'm a dmx guy so I don't need the remote. Am I making a mistake?
to get the straight beams of light do you need a fog machine? If not, what setting will do that function? Would you recommend the stinger or mini dekker?
Is there any way to figure out what kind of coverage this will do? I have an older Suny in a smaller room, but am looking for a new light for a room that is about twice the size. Can I figure it out with ceiling etc.? I don't want a circle of lights to show up on part of the floor.
Quick question. When you set this up, are you supposed to aim it straight ahead so that the laser is over everyone's head, or do you aim it at the floor? Seems to me that if you aim it straight out the effects end up on the wall instead of the dance floor. What do you do?
Question: Does this have a long boot-up sequence? I am looking for a light that will come on immediately and run in auto mode... I'm using an old-style dimmer pack power source. So when I give it electricity, will it come on right away, or is there a lag time? Thank you for making these videos!
I have a stinger ii but i want to purchase the original stinger i and my question is if you can sync them together to go the same with sound active mode? And if you can what do i need to sync them?

Can you master/ slave the Stinger 2 as the master and the Stinger 1 as the slave, then control them with the remote? I already have the Stinger 1 and would love to add and Stinger 2 and it sure would be cool if that remote could control them both. Thanks
Can you make the effects more randomized and slow? Kinda like a computer idle screen, if you know what I mean. I like the geometric effects, but I'm also wanting more space nebulous affects. It's hard to describe, but I hope you know what I'm trying to say.
Could anyone help me please. I recently purchased the UC-IR remote for my stinger 2 but the unit does not respond to it at all. Tried new battery's. Do I need to change a setting on the fixture? Thanks all.
