Understanding and Using Adjectives | This video links the prior concept of nouns to adjectives in a unique way. The video imagery, coupled with the instructional audio component, creates a dynamic demonstration of the power adjectives have over the nouns we read, speak, and write about. The video illustrates the impact adjectives play in creating imagery for the reader when speaking and writing. It further pinpoints how powerful adjectives are by showcasing the manner in which the entire meaning of a sentence can be changed simply by changing the adjectives. The purpose of this video is to empower students to embrace the potential of the adjective as an effective tool for communication, and to motivate them to actually apply this knowledge to their real world speaking and writing.
