Thank you so much for this. Lulz, I had bought some of these with some other toggle clamps and wasn't sure I was mounting them right and how you are using them is exactly what I was needing to do and I see why I was mounting them wrong.

Yeah I mean, I don’t know if this is exactly how they were built to be used but they work great like this. I have moved this box so many times and the clamps are still perfect.

I trying to find this type mech but in reverse instead of pulling it would push or spread... arg. They make bar clamps you can reverse but i need a smaller mech

Hello. Could you please tell me what the approximate vertical distance between the top edge of the side wooden boards and the place where you screwed the hook/latch part of these clamps is?

I’m not sure to be honest and I’m not in the office with the box. It has a nut though that gives you play to adjust the height.

What bolts|screws are you using to mount them I wanted to clamp them on aluminum sheet tool box and how is it holding up if you’re still using them

They are holding up well, it’s just basic little wood screws to go into the plywood and the screws with nuts are what they provide
