Adjusting TireMaax Pro Inflation system 2020/125 

1. I noticed that these tiremaxx pro TIS were setup by either dealer or factory to 90psi. They need to be changed. 2. Don't need to take out the whole hose to check tire pressure. Only need to unscrew the hose end by the wheel hub and check with tire pressure gauge. It acts like an extended valve stem.

You can check the pressure at the end that screws into the hub. You don’t have to take it off from the stem.

As a new O/O getting into the industry during record fuel prices, this is huge! God Bless you for sharing your knowledge!!!!!

Nice work gotta set up a dry erase board for trailer checks etc Then some type of intervals to see cost savings , maintenance savings and maximize your time. IE Drivers drop a trailer at shop at Pre arranged intervals for say12/24 hrs to maintain program, tires lube reefer checks etc Great video and tech support....You n Inspector great team...Stay safe n hydrate

Long Haul Man I read your book. Really enjoyed it! Then watched some of your vids. You are some kind of truck (and other vehicle/ machine) maintenance genius. You ever thought about teaching, maybe at the Community College you brag about in your book. The one where you learned to drive. Also, you have an engaging personality and enjoy fixing trucks. That can be very helpful in getting young folk interested in the profession. Of either driving, or maintaining trucks. Although it sure doesn’t hurt even as a driver, to know when things are going wrong, and how to fix some stuff. Just saying! The Ol Doc (retired ER Doc who always has had wide outside interest)

Excellent video. I got out of cross country driving back in the early 80's for a new career. Since seeing the self inflation systems on trucks, I always wondered how they were supposed to work. Thank you for explaining it.

If all your concerned about is identifying if someone got inside those box's. I recommend using those sticker seals. They make these sticker type things to place across a door jam or w.e and If someone peels it off and tries replacing it. You'll know by small words that appears like magic when their peeled away. And of course if they cut em, that'll be noticable as well.

This is a great video. However you are the only one that will check the tires. The other drivers are too busy cooking in their hot logic pans and getting fat. Cannot bend over, overweight and lazy.

Any update on how running 100 psi has worked for you? I have a tiremax hendrickson inflation system set at 100 psi but tires call for 120 psi cold …. 2 years later all tires show shoulder wear on both sides which is a symptom of low inflation …. All tires confirmed at 100 psi throughout the time but now I am putting 8 trailer tires on and would like to bump it up to 110 or 120 but the black knob in my box (to adjust psi) doesn’t work…

Man, I drove 48 & Canada between 1989 & 1999. Kick the tires is all I ever did, I dont think I experienced anything more than 7-8 flats.blowout in that time. Maybe the Bossman needs to buy better tires to begin with? And yes, I actually did go thru safety pretrips every day, and did crawl under and manually adjust brakes, checked all lines and fluid levels.

If you think we are stupid, then you are wrong, a camera does not move by itself. Who is the only one you know "The Inspector" it was seen from the first second. If she could keep the camera completely still, then some time would pass, maybe the whole video. We're not stupid.
