Here we have another walk around, this Enviro500 being the first I drove in service! I can say they are a very nice bus to drive, some good an bad but overall quite nice! Give away to who the special guest is huh haha.. Enjoy :)

DSFCO Films haha, yeah it was nice of him to show up! He lives at the depot an is often seen coming and going through out the day 😻

Very nice tour, and it was funny when the cat came trotting past! I have to admit, I do really like the look of your E500s, it's a shame we don't have any of these new style ones here in the UK... :)

Matt's Transport Videos thanks matt :) haha trotting is the word haha I like way he trotts around the depot! Oh I thought these were the old style ones, seems like all the models in uk are newer ones. These are nice to drive but crampt drivers compartment! :)

@@jamespeter1662 We have E400s everywhere, but no E500s like these. The only ones we have are the really old ones haha ;)

Matt's Transport Videos ahh yes as these are the mmc version but still older body style.. we seem to spoilt here with air conditioned buses unlike the UK. These are better to drive than BCI deckers :)

Hooray! No rear door buzzer! I wonder if that has been disabled when NZ Bus went to ADL with specs for their Double Deckers? I have to wonder though, will there ever be a use for those monitors inside the buses? Otherwise it kinda spoils the view from the front on top.

Oh I didn't notice that.. yeah maybe this one is the odd one out but who knows.. Oh yeah I wonder if anything will even get put on those screens, but then, I do like the peace an quiet rather than hearing the same adverts all day haha. But right, the view from the top is spoilt by that big screen, especially on these.. the BCI screen doesn't block view as much :)

Usually its just a cable so they could do anything from play Live tv to advertisements

True, guess its there for whenever its decided to be used.. the Enviro200s have a box behind drivers partition and roof that has audio an electrical stuff, I noticed this box is bigger on later model examples compared to earlier. I rather no adverts play, put up for years with em on link buses haha :)

haha he doesnt deserve 3! nah he struggles to eat more than two.. sometimes he leaves food an walks away. been busy today huh.. better have some lunch ;)

sometimes hes only ate a bit then disappears, haha well there a few others at depot that throw him a meal or two also :)

Haha he sure is, sadly he disappeared from his home at the depot when another stray came on the scene. I ignore the new cat, miss Half-tail every day.. only hope he has found somewhere new to live :(

Yes quite similar looks, when I was there in 2012 I traveled on similar buses a few times :)

@@TEEBRposts516 Oh I didn't know that, guess smaller streets etc, these were such a breeze to drive, stiff steering and high seating for driver my only down sides but overall a good bus to drive :)

@@jamespeter1662 our longest bus used to be a 12.5m BCI Enterprise but it broke down so much it had to be placed in storage, it was never heard from again

That’s a shame, who knows where it went maybe a motorhome or static house it is now 👍
