As a lifelong O's fan, the moment this kid was brought up it has literally changed the entire organization. I dont want to jinx him but he has the potential to be one of the greatest switch hitters in baseball history. He's that good!

@@official315 the margin for error is a lot smaller. You can get a lot more "good" hits with a metal bat even though they aren't always better than a wood bat, because the sweet spot is larger

I remember being up at bat against adley in 2015. I was a freshman playing for newberg high and adley was a senior for sherwood. he threw me 3 strikes about mid 90s down the pipe and i walked back in shame. i think he hit 2 homers that game as well. absolute stud

I find it so interesting when switch hitters are better on one side of the plate but make it an effort to still hit on the opposite side. Does the side of the plate really offset that much to make it worth it?

Breaking balls never break away from you so you have a better view, as long as you're decent on each side it's a good skill that is valuable

It’s not just the exit velocity…almost every one of Adley’s bombs was between 15-20 degrees launch angle. That’s ridiculous consistency. He’s like a machine or something. Let’s go O’s!
