Honestly, about 2 years ago, when I just learned playing the Uke, I came up with a slow then suddenly turned into disco style version of that song, finger style at first, transitioning to a fast strum with a disco beat. One day I'll post it =) peace & love!

Well, maybe your big "man hands" would like to have a variety of sizes just for fun ;) I think that beginner ukes are missing a few things that I now look for. This is just my personal taste, of course. I would want a slightly more rich and sustained sound, a little bit more on the aesthetic side, and definitely a better gig bag.

Nano dunked her hands in wet food and played with KitKat until she ate from her hands. KitKat and Nano have a special bond ❤️❤️❤️

Bernadette Teaches Music I bought it about a couple months ago for $60 including shipping. It's mahogany. It came with a strap, the kind you reviewed before which you like, with aquila strings and an extra set, a few guitar picks, a tuner, a decent padded bag, definitely thicker than ADM's, and an instruction booklet with chords. It looks simple, no abalone inlays of some sort, and keeps in tune for a while. It sounded like the ADM and the action is just right I guess. Its a concert size and I love playing it.

Kelly Nakasone Kelly, you must be new here 😉 I get harassed and trolled in the comments for pronouncing it the Hawaiian way and the anglicized way. There really is no winning that battle. I have told my community here that we will use both pronunciations interchangeably ☺️ after all, the ukulele is the instrument of love and peace.

Please don't get me wrong. I'm a Kama'aina. (Hawaii local) I was just thinking if someone was pronouncing a Spanish word wrong then you would wanna correct them right? I for sure wasn't harassing you. I just figured as a teacher you would want to know the right way. I'm sure you get corrected in Japanese and okinawan language all the time without feeling like you're harassed. I'm sorry I shouldn't have said anything.

Oh! I know you weren't harassing me. I know you're just bringing your input, especially as a Hawaiian! I wholeheartedly agree with you on using words correctly and spreading the education. Now that I have lived abroad I have learned that everyone pronounces words differently and as long as I understand the message that they're trying to communicate, we are good. A simple example of this is the word "burrito" 😂everyone says, "wanna go get a boo-ree-toe?" when I know it should be "boo-rrrrrrrrrri-toh" -I'm not going to sit there and correct them if I'm hungry, you know?
