VLOG 220 - This video is entirely about all the admission requirements for applying and studying Masters in Netherlands. Here is a brief summary of the main discussion points in the video:
Min. cutoff for TOEFL is greater than or = 90, IELTS - 6+ or 6.5+
GRE is optional and needed for some university ranging from 315+ or 320+ GRE and TOEFL. I mentioned here ( • How to apply study abr... ) in details where also talked about how to approach professors, factors to consider before applying for a university and the video description also has materials for GRE and TOEFL.
CGPA or GPA - Also talk about the subject specific grades in certain courses depending on what are you applying for irrespective of the high CGPA with example!!

Language - 99% people speak English, almost all Masters in English,

@@harikirant6144 Yes, I think so because the applications opened last year around October. Nowadays because of the rolling admits some faculties like Comp. Sc. and Civil get filled by end Jan even though official deadline is around March-April. Given the current situation also, my advice will be to apply for fall 2021 right from Oct this year! Yes Bro. Individual grades are more important than overall CGPA. My application for MSC in sustainable energy technology at the university of delft and twente got rejected due to lack of specific grades

Sir, I just received an admit for Sustainable Energy development from TU DELFT and KTH Sweden. I am confused between the two, Can you guide me in comparing the two choice in terms of job opportunity, living expenses and industry tie-ups.

Job opportunities are better in Netherlands, living expenses will be comparatively more in Sweden and it's much colder than Netherlands. Normally during your thesis you can work with industries and get to know them. I think both universities will have but that doesn't help much! Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to get all updates 😊

I just have a question: I want to apply for the MSc Sustainable Energy Technology in TU Delft and it hasn't mentioned anything about GRE score at all. So I wanted to know that do you think I still should take GRE even though it hasn't been mentioned in this program's prequisites?

If the university website doesn't mention GRE then it's not required. Always follow what the university website says blindly because rules change each year :)

Tilburg university is also a good university. When I was applying for PhD positions after my Masters then I applied for some data sc. programs there. Unfortunately I got rejected. I only mentioned few universities in the video but there are many including Tilburg, Utrecht, Radbound Nijmegen.

Yes, experience is always useful, never a bad thing for Masters! If you want to switch from ECE to CS/ IT then your experience will be definitely handy and you need to also convince this switch in the motivation letter. Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to get all updates 😊

Congratulations 🎉 It's your choice. Obviously you should not reject other universities if you want to go there even though you are waiting for the scholarship. But, if you want to go for Twente with or without scholarships then obviously you can reject others and wait for Twente only!

Thx for the video!! Very helpful! Just want to know the language requirement for international students who want to pursue Bachelor degree in architecture. Do they need to speak Dutch and pass a certain standard to be admitted? What is the medium of instruction in class?

Brother I got conditional acceptance letter from an university in the Neatherlands. they asked me to give original certificate of my undergraduate. but as the convocation has been cancelled, i didnt get the original certificate. but the university is telling me to pay the fees and they will apply for my visa. Sir is it possible to apply for visa with conditional certificate? thanks

If you check websites of Dutch university as far as I know, you need a 1st division if you are from India which should be above 6. But, requirements change each year so better check university website to be sure

Normally most municipalities in Netherlands ask for an apostilled birth certificate not older than 6 months nowadays. During my time back in 2015, I didn't need any birth certificate for Delft. Things have changed now. Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to get all updates 😊

I think you have pretty good grades. You have to check the website of the university you are applying for but ideally the cutoff is either 60 or 75 % ! Good luck :)

I think you have a great profile so check the university websites, normally it starts from Oct and then you should apply asap to maximize your chances because all the decisions are rolling!

I wish to apply for computer science. But my grades are pretty low in CS subjects having a non cs bachleors degree but the rest looks good. But I have an experience of 2 and a half years in the IT industry. So will my work experience help in this case.

Work exp. helps but normally your grades should be above the minimum cutoff of 60% or 6.0 CGPA

Probably not! Will be a good idea to mail and ask the university to be completely sure. But, as far as I know, you need a 4 year bachelors in India to apply for masters

Yes, during my batch there were Master students in their 30s with 5-6 yr. work exp. and 2-3 year gap! You need to justify it in your motivation letter. Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to get all updates!
