It might need a security code to unlock

Maybe it's from a brake sensor, that turns off the motor, otherwise I can't tell as I do not know the display & controller of that bike model.

Check my dedicated D30C videos, the bike is amazing, you just need to buy a separate throttle, it unlock and will do 40km/h!

Yes, cruise control was added to the updated controller that was released after this initial version.

@@TechTronic9000 now I’ve stumbled across another brilliant option…, I accidentally pressed the minus button to long for some reason and the bike started to take off! well actually it’s only to start the bike in forward motion then I operated the twist grip which made for such a smooth move off!

You can increase the pedal delay for the PAS so you need to get some speed first and the you get assisted, that will save a lot of power and increase the range.

No, it will not have any kind of problems. Your battery range will decrease proportionally with the speed increase so you will observe considerable less range.

Do you know what controller do you have on the x3000, maybe it's a lower power version.

Usually newer Bafang motors are very complicated to unlock and require a special programing cable.

You can buy the accelerator from ADO, but you might have an EU version which doesn't permit unlocking.

It's the same 00025 = 25km/h, 00100 =100km/h thus no speed limit.

Are your referring to range or lifespan? The A20 fully unlocked will get ~20-30km range with electric throttle and maximum speed, while in locked mode and assisted you can easy get double that. As for lifespan it depends on how you maintain the battery, charging as often as possible, not over discharging the battery and keeping it to 50-60% charge level when not using the bike for a longer time, could improve the battery life a lot. For instance in one of my older bikes I did 4500km and the tested battery capacity only lost about 6%

Fully unlocked is 35km/h. The more you discharge the battery the more wear it receives. It's much better to discharge it to 30% than 10%. Also if the battery still has 90% it's good to charge it back to full. When you are not using the bike for a long time just keep the battery at around 50% and before riding fully charged it.

It targets 25km/h but the closer you get to 25km/h the less assistance it gives, sweet spot is around ~ 20km/h

Check voltage settings in the P settings menu.

Not with all as some of the settings are depended also to the motor controller, for instance some bikes will not unlock speed over 25km/h, but the overall P settings list is the same.

Is as fast as 35km/h are. It's rather enough for normal usage. Keep in mind that top speed will also drain a lot more battery than normal so range will take a big impact.

@@iltony79 Higher speed is only available by the use of the throttle.

You might want to double check that with a GPS, the wheels size might not be configured properly.

It's don't work. 🙁 The maximum speed is 28 km/h without load. With the KT controller I used before it was 40 km/h.

Have ado a16, also only goes 28km/h without load after unlocking as in thr video, do you think getting a new controller will work?

That is a communication error, check all the cables and plugs.

Certainly not. It only works for specific bikes with specific controller. This is a generic display that can control some parameters.

Check the motor plug and wire.
