Ahahaha your English is fine I understand everything, it does help that I’m Dutch so even the german filler words make sense to me, thanks for the video very helpful keep it going!
@@survivalmastersinternational I have a great question for you, I am interested in a twist throttle that starts you off slow, because I notice that all the cheap $15 twist throttles that I a have used, knock you off the saddle as soon as you barley turn it to its minimal activation point, I am looking for a throttle that starts off very slow and gradually starts accelerating to full speed. Please refer me to one either through amazon link or a model and model number, I will subscribe to your channel upon you response. thanks
I think you two speak very well in English and since I love electronics and making "modifications" myself I find the content humorous and informative! Gut Gemacht!
i'm from belguim and as long as i can learn stuff from people i don't care were they are from ! it's all about sharing knowledge and yes i have learned something !
Great video! The Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series seems like a fantastic choice for outdoor enthusiasts like us. Its impressive capacity, fast recharging, and waterproof design make it perfect for camping trips. Plus, with its smart app control, we can easily monitor and manage our energy usage. Thanks for sharing this awesome recommendation!
Class idea if you get pulled up by you know who.. They seem to to be clamping down on this here. I know this will be a dumb question with a obvious answer. But have you done this upgrade? And what was the result please. Also does the battery get drained a lot quicker when doing this? Or do you still get the same amount of distance. As my scooter only travels 15 km approximately before I have to recharge. This is without doing this upgrade.
First off even in the UK a lot of these can be programmed in the LCD display if it is a lt100, lh100 QT - 100 and others alike it. Also make sure you giving out the right information some of these blue wires AR a self-learning wire not a rev limiter wire. The self-learning wire is usually white , blue or yellow unfortunately speed limiters are also white or blue single wire. Then there are some that the controller is just programmed into the system and if you do not know how to take the controller out or plug it into the LCD display reprogram it you're still going to have issues.
Believe me I know the self learn wires which uaually arent oresent on alot of major brand made controllers but any aftermarket controllers of course they are existent which is why I say its a case by case basis
@@zeekltd thats like a gotrax. Which usually is maxxed out for the most part but i cannot 100% say without seeing it myself so I dont want to give you definitive answer and mislead you one way or another
@Endlisswheelz I appreciate your response. How do you think I can get the carerra impel is - 2 faster? It's a very sturdy scooter but restricted at 15 mph, hard commute 😳 unlocked it will be alot of fun 😃
@@Endlisswheelz hey sir, how about Inmotion Air Pro? It's supposed to go 35 but is limited to 25km/h. Your advice would be very greatly appreciated! THX
If you’re thinking of doing this please take note that each scooter comes with a limit for a reason (to keep the motor from burning out) Increasing it from 20 to 45 is more than double and will produce more heat and may burn your motor out. In total making your scooter un drivable ( you may risk a explosion)
most of these scooters sell both versions, its just a cable to limit it for road laws (im not saying all brands does this, but ive seen plenty of brands that have both a street legal and not street legal version)
Is it a digital signal? Obviously you could use a switch for on/off limits speed but could you use a potentiometer to adjust the value / voltage to dial in your own top speed instead?
0:22 i did not know that scooters surpassed planes and jets already, thanks for letting me know, definitely got to get that 25km per second scooter. 😅😎
Can’t imagine that walking was brand scooters like ninebot… at least the last time I opened it it didn’t have so many loose cables in there anyways. Can you show this with gd30d2 (new controller?
Great video guys! I am in England and brand new to electric scooters. Your command of English is great by the way! Dues to buy a Chaos 1000W 36/48V used scooter next Wednesday 2nd August 2023. I believe they can achieve 45 to 50 KMH which is 27 to 30 MPH. I am going to have an investigation on the throttle controller and see if there is a blue wire. If there is, then I will follow your instructions and see if it can increase the maximum speed. If it does, then I will extremely appreciative of you guys. Vielen dank!
I would recommend running a on/off switch to the limiter with some extra cable to handle bars so you can run limiter when you are going slower to give the battery and motor a break or you risk cooking both.
@@ArtemGradinar think it doesn't matter what mode you put it on after disconnect the limiter loop it will go full capacity in all modes so better to just fit a switch and switch on when not doing full speed also not a good idea doing full speed for extended periods without limiter or you will kill it.
I drive the exact same model since 2021, 7300km on it, stock battery (48V 26Ah model, „100km range“, realistic 50-70 km range) and unlocked since day one. I go nearly all the time 30-40 km/h continuous, also steeper (longer) climbs with 20-25 km/h and nothing fried yet except the cheap LED high beams. But i also used thermal compound to improve heat transfer from the controller to the frame as well let the motor cool off a bit when the motor overheat icon lights up the very rare moments in the hottest summer days. I have absolutely no clue how you all think this „unlock“ will harm the scooter in long term. If you have not realized yet, those scooters are normally made to be delivered unlocked from factory (thats why many have a connector instead of a bare wire to cut), it just happens that in many countries they are regulated to either drive anywhere between 20 (23 with tolerances) and 25km/h legally so they are delivered in those countries locked. When we talk about the battery…. you are absolutely right about long term damage, especially with the cheapest 48V 10-12,8Ah models with 1000W (2000W peak) motor, when the manufacturers have not used high drain Li Ion cells you can be pretty sure the battery will degrade „fast“, so probably less than 500 cycles even possible since you can discharge the battery entirely within 20 minutes (25km/h or more slightly uphill) (so 3C continuous)
@@harrison00xXx yeah alot of the cheapo ones have the not so great batteries in and generally won't do well with scooter draining full capacity I know lots of people who have done the speed limiter hack and ended up with a dead scooter. It's better to err on side of causion when giving advice about these too many cheap knockoffs out there. That upgrade of the heat compound is a very good suggestion anything to keep it cool is going to help alot I got a cheap escooto secondhand that I have rebuilt derestricted and so far just standard use not had any major issues apart from getting a bit of play in motorhub but that's unrelated to restrictions. If people want to risk it's ultimately up to them I don't mind finding cheap broken ones I can buy and fix😂
Hey guys. I really liked the video. In this case, only the top speed changes or does the acceleration change as well? and can this also be done on the Iscooter X6 scooter? I would also like to ask if it will spin at maximum in all speeds or will it only go more in eg 3rd gear?
Hi, i have a EU-version Navee N65 with a maximum 25kmh that i want to change to 32kmh. On aliexpress that says you can change the speed by just changing the dashboard/display to a US version dashboard/display. Do you know if i only would need a US version dashboard and wont a new controller also? Thank you for advice and help
I wonder if wiring a pedal or dial of some kind could be viable. It would be like shifting gears on a ten speed bicycle and it could also help keep the motor and battery cooler.
is this the same on all el ... I have 2 of e2vs2pro... can I cut a wire.and it Will go faster then 20 km/t.... or is it Just on this you working on??????😅
I am debating on buying a Lectric XP 3.0 but even onlocked the throttle is capped at 20 even though it moves 28 mph with peddle assist, i want to know if this could work to solve the issue
Hello is it always a blue wire or what exactly should I follow how to know which wire it is ..I own an electric scooter Sencor Scooter one 2020 ( model name e9pro) I split the bottom cover where the cables are located but I do not know how to know which one is the limiter and I do not know if it is even possible to find the wire . I have read that some models have a software limiter. as far as I know the first models of this scooter were going up to 30kmh but after the update they are only going 25 and I can't change it even in the older version of the mobile app where the speed increases but immediately goes back again... Could you please help me ? Thank you.
Could you check out the Båge 2000W? I would like to tune it. - when it comes to the language, it's okay. Im danish, and used to live in Padborg so i understand the german parts. 😄🙏
Would this work on a ZIPPER M6 350W? I have this scooter for running to shops on but it just doesnt have enough power to get me up the hills, a little more power and Id get up the hills no problems. Great video and your English is excellent.
@@theebikeguy3852 you will burn down motor. I hawe 650w and max is 1000 and I use it att easy hills 200m -300m cos it will brake my motor and mine goes 42km/h
i have a g2 pro and it goes about 28 30 mph and on the wires coming from the controller it as a plug with a white wire in a loop but i don,t know what its for but my question can you do it to a g2 pro
Can you help with a Thorpe 25 E-scooter, we've tried what you suggested & nothing seems to change. Any further advice would be appreciated. Regards . Nick
Can i do this to a roadrunner D4+ 4.0? Im trying to make up the speed im loosing because of my weight. Its supoost to go 40 but ive only reched 37. And maybe it was cause tbey had fixed that street so it was very flat
I know that it can be done for many years, but I also know from many years of experience in electricity that if you cut the wire or remove the limiter, you will create a problem with the engine and the engine will catch fire like a flint, the factory puts a limit to protect excessive overheating or full throttle up the hill if you give it from a place, then if there is no limit, the engine will struggle and this will cause the coil to catch fire, there are many more bad sides to that!
I was thinking this. But also thought that the limiter is there as a default safety mode for various countries. Obviously the battery life will not last as long too I guessing?? I'm going to give it a go as my scooter is getting old and have the feeling that the battery is in its way out as it's 2 years old.
