Well, this was a little messy!
Tag along with Chad as he removes the HBMC system on Reba, our 2012 Infiniti QX56 we picked up about a month ago. We have diagnosed Reba's problem and have come to the conclusion that the timing chain is all that needed to be replaced but ran into a little snag.
We found out that we needed to remove the CV shafts to fully get to where we needed to reach, so what better time to remove the HBMC system?!
We are super stoked to get this project going for you guys to follow along with as we strive to transform Reba into luxurious off-road machine!

How did you mount the front sway bar, Did you fabricate a custom bracket to hold the bar in place?

it's all hydraulic so it's just messy to delete. no electronics so no lights when it's out

Is there a way to just deal the HBMC from the rear and keeps the front? The air bag on my rear shock is out. I just want to swap to coilover on the rear.

Is there any reason that adding sway bars with the hbmc system would have negative effects on the truck?

there's really no need to add sway bars to a vehicle with HBMC. the hydraulics control the body roll.

Looking at deleting the HBMC on my 2011. Did you have any issues afterwards CEL lights etc? Also do you have a recommendation on suspension? Not really looking to lift or offroad.

It’s all hydraulic so we didn’t get any lights. Your biggest hurdle is the sway bars and adding them
