Chad walks through the steps of installing the Alldogs Offroad Parabolic Leaf Springs on his 2022 Nissan Frontier. He explains the process of removing his OEM Leaf Spring with the ADO Add-A-Leaf and installing the parabolics. These instructions are the same for any 2nd and 3rd Gen Nissan Frontier.

How much lighter are those springs than the factory springs? They seemed a lot easier to carry than that add a leaf set up.

thanks for the video. been thinking about between broverland or parabolic. got a rtt and steel rtt rack fulltime. would be a good idea to add adjustable leaf springs? i have a 2019 2nd gen pro frontier pro 4x - nisstec 3-4 inch extended travel radflos 2.0. with deaver add a leaf installed for 2yrs. wanting to switch to parabolic.

What bushings are used with these leaf springs and would these springs work well with about 250lbs of gear/leer camper shell in the bed? I have 23' pro4x and was looking underneath the truck and noticed an aluminum driveshaft with normal u-joints, no more weird yoke design.

we use OE style rubber bushings. no poly here! they will work well with that much weight

Do these springs give a lift by themselves or do you need a shackle as well? Also if it does provide a lift how much if that info is known?

they do provide lift. should be around 2-2.5 inches. they do require a constant load of at least 300 lbs to get the correct ride quality.

Do you have the old man emu had suspension lift in stock? My local shop said everything is on back order. BS?

we only carry front shocks and struts for some applications in case the customer wants them assembled. if your shop says they're backordered then they most likely are

In America it well be wind or solar sail powered, specially under California EPA rules. Because my forward thinking, (retarded) state rolls like that. FML

Are those ready to order? . 2011 nissan xterra pro4× .. Id like a small lift without having to change UPCs. I'd like around 1.5" lift with these parabolic springs. Im planning mounting a rooftop tent. I'll get a top spacer for front, currently have nisstec coilovers.

Parabolics for the Xterra should be stocking in about 2 weeks. They'll be added to our site once we have them. Frontier and Tacoma are already shipping. :)

they were the OE leaf packs with add a leaf. the tent and rack was a bit too much weight and wanted the factory rake back. the full leaf pack gives you more carrying capacity without squatting also.

What makes these springs better than stock? Is it worth the time and effort for the average schmuck like me?

If you have the required amount of weight (+200ish lbs) they will ride much better than a traditional leaf pack. They're also about 15-20% lighter in weight.

It sounds like there are several benefits to the design besides being able to drive around with a bunch of extra weight. What about a parabolic spring for people who have a regular tent that weighs like 5 lbs?

without the necessary weight, the suspension will be very firm in the rear.
