NOTE: CS6 has the same set of tools. CC added the Sound Remover effect which is useful when removing dynamic (changing over time) "foreground" sounds like cell phones and sirens.

Note: Soundbooth and Audition share several characteristics, including the multitrack editing workflow. With the release of CS5.5, Adobe has discontinued Soundbooth. Audition has been a stand-alone, Windows-only product for a few years. For CS5.5, it was re-engineered to make it Windows & Mac compatible and it is now included in Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium and Master Collection.
