Lens blur is a game changer for sports photography, bye bye background, hello subject standing proud. F4 instead of f2.8 will save many people lots of money. From a tad damp 20 miles north of London, be lucky stay safe.
I’m sorry but I don’t understand, why would you as a professional wedding photographer use the lens blur feature? It doesn’t look very good or precise (missed the straws on the left in the first photo) and it seems to require lots of extra work. Why wouldn’t you just use a fast lens and then adjust the aperture to what works for the photo. Surely that’s way faster?
I find the addition of these rather unnecessary processes just clog up the app! It's a shame they don't give photographers some of the more important processes, like focus stacking for instance, so that it wouldn't be necessary to export to photoshop to do this and make the whole editing process much smoother. I really do feel that Adobe are now just painting on go-faster stripes rather than tuning up the engine, just like Apple with their latest OS updates.
