I like your videos. Very informative. Thanks a lot for the effort. Can you please do a video explaining the word "present"? I have a feeling that the two meanings "present time" and "gift" are etymologically connected. Like; the present moment is a gift from god? What do you think?

"Present" as in "present time" comes from Latin "praesens", present participle of "praeesse" literally "be before". "Present" as in "gift" comes from Latin "praesentare", literally "to make be before", AKA "to show", aka "to present (to someone)". A present is something you present to someone, with a connotation in English that it generally refers to a gift.
