@@herloss448 from character standpoint I agree peacemaker is better because he has character development, when in vigilante case we simply discover his psychopath characteristics. But for likability I prefer vigilante more.
He's goofy yet smart, psychotic yet caring, funny yet serious, really very nice portrayal of vigilante. Props to Freddie Stroma and James Gunn for bringing the character life🔥

Yeah I mean hopefully their morals don't conflict each other in upcoming seasons and they end up fighting to the death. In the comics they fight and Peacemaker kills vigilante
@@sackboyhero7747 in a post credit scene. Hardcourt threatened to kill his family. And he said ‘it’s too late for that’. In the comics, his wife and kid(s) were murdered. The post credit scene confirms that it happened in the DCEU (If you take it as canon).
Vigilante steps in and saves Peacemaker multiple times- the sniper-takeover, the prison break-IN, the "no wrong time to rock" attack, and the "theres gaps in the armor, man". He's a true friend.
yes, he is, but it seems to be one sided. Peacemaker is not so invested in this friendship unfortunately. I wonder what Gunn is up to with V and P in season 2.
@@ezookami4540 Thats how it kinda was in the beginning but throughout the series their friendship blossoms.. Peacemaker knows Vigilante looks up to him like a big brother.. That's why he's always putting on a brave face whenever Vigilante is around.. Also, When Vigilante was going to sacrifice himself with the grenade, Peacemaker tries to get to him in time yelling "VIG NOOO!" They are definitely besties!
I don't think anyone would disagree when I say I loved the Peacemaker show, every aspect of it, but Vig deserves a show of his own. Gun found a perfect balance of keeping him crazy and goofy, loveable, and a BAMF.
He's not main character material he's insanely funny in a sidekicky typa role but how will he be able to have his own show without changing completely? He changes and it's all over, he's no longer Vigilante.

I honestly wasn’t expecting to like this show as much as I did. Peacemaker and Vigilante make an awesome duo. The scene where Vigilante goes to prison and beats up the racists was my favorite.
Vigilante was my favorite character on this show!!! His loyalty to peacemaker was dope even tho peacemaker acted like he was a pest low-key he reminded me of Deadpool but crazier
I thought he would just end up being a goofy ass, no skill "hero" but damn Vigilante can kick serious ass, and he is durable as hell cause he went through way more punishment than anyone else (had part of his toe cut off, stabbed, shot, blown up by a grenade etc.)
I feel like they’re going to reveal that he has some kind of healing factor because some of the injuries he came back from with no medical help were insane
Ok I actually love his character. Yeah he's an psycho but he's still not a complete douchebag. He's funny and a total badass. Im actually surprised how much I enjoyed this show. Way way more than I thought. Can't wait for season 2!
The little one seems perfectly frustrated , the eagle walking down the street with them is sooooooo cool 😘 had to watch it again!! And trying to ignore they are insane... 😀
The most amazing thing about Freddie Stroma absolutely killing it as Vigilante is that he wasn’t part of the cast until they were already filming episode 5. Chris Conrad quit and James Gunn reshot all of Vigilante’s scenes with Freddie. Massive upgrade with a lot more sociopathic comedy added.
Superhero crush! The last time I saw him was on A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song where he was quite good but this is a whole new level of AWESOMENESS! Vigilante is definitely my favourite character in Peacemaker.

Imagine if he ended up getting his comicbook abilities in season 2. The potential for craziness would be endless also it would he an interesting arch to have, him gaining abilities having the potential to he superior to peacemaker but mentally still desiring his approval and recognition
Well, i guess he does have the healing factor, but secretly? Bc of the toe thing, he only ever walked hardly in 2 episodes. Also the explosion he was in? If he didn't have it, he'd be dead
@@omegalongdong How could he recover from an explosion (like the one he faced while fighting off peacemakers dad) without having healing factor though? I think he does have some sort of healing abilities here.
Controversial opinion that will ruffle feathers. Vigilante is organically funnier than Deadpool. Deadpool relies on the script and story to be funny while Vigilante the actor playing him is extremely funny in performance and delivery sorry Ryan Reynolds but the whole dry delivery while making a joke was only going to get you so far
I agree, it also feels like deadpool says stupid shit for the sole purpose of winking to the audience (which I guess is the point), while with vigilante he’s just and out of touch maniac that doesn’t care less about the audience but just happened to be funny
Deadpool’s whole personality is that he knows he’s a fictional character. Vig doesn’t, so he feels a lot more real because he’s taking his situation a lot more seriously.
@@100StepProgram Exactly, honestly Stroma's Vigilante may be closer to the a more comedic version of the Original Liefeld DP than the modern memeriddled version.
