I'm binging on Highlander series now. I was a fan and always be. Adrian Paul made use of his experience on the series well and it's great of him to share that with people. This interview is a few years old but he still looks as handsome as ever!!! There's only one Adrian Paul!!
it is so amazing to see Adrian is still doing amazing things. i would love to be part of this at some point in my life. also. i swear Adrian ages lije half the rate as the rest of us lol. he looks like he did in Highlander Endgame to me.
I've never tried the Sword Experience, but have dabbled in stage combat, and martial arts. It is fun, and active. If you were thinking about doing it, I'd say give it a try... said the stranger on RU-vid lol.
Exercising by learning a skill that you enjoy is the best exercise of all, whether you're learning to dance or sword fight or whatever. I'm so delighted that he's still doing martial arts, AND teaching it.
Bonsoir, j'adore Adrian Paul, euh, Duncan MacLeod.
The interesting challenge in stage combat is to take a real form, or what appears to be a real form, and modify it to be safe for performance. The goal isn't to hurt the other person - they're your partner, not your opponent, in the "fight."
For years I told myself I'd save up and go to a Sword Experience event once I graduated college. I finally graduated... but it's a pandemic and I'm beyond broke. Ah ha . . . It's a good thing I have a sense of humor. Thanks for the inspiration.
I wanted my company to sign up for a sword experience training. I think it is a great team building exercise. Plus learning from someone so dedicated to their craft is an honor.
It’s interesting that he played an immortal and he actually ages very well in real life. This is a very old video, but even today on his recent videos he looks a lot younger than probably most people his age. Just shows you he was the right person to play the Highlander.
I think Dolph certainly has done the training but I don't think he's ever really competed. But he is a very cool guy. He has a masters degree from MIT. So he's no dummy either.
If it’s possible, could the Sword Experience come to Atlantic City New Jersey one year? I live near there and I would love to be involved. I’ve always wanted to do something like this
You aren't just good at martial arts and teaching, you know. You're also a decent actor. I know I'm not the only one who'd like to see you doing more of the latter.
He was just cast season 2 of the new Apple TV show " See" I just finished season 1 of it is an incredibly interesting show Google it check it out and Adrian Paul's in season 2 which starrs just a couple of weeks
i would like to challenge Adrian to a duel as i trained in samurai sword for 7 years and got to second dan black belt, in the end there can be only one lol
kinda wandering how he did such a good job in highlander, butt he never moved up the latter.... people just don't know what a dirty business it really is....
johnny mays my dad asks me that all the time and I never know what to tell him. I mean he has the looks, athleticism, experience, range, and yet he’s mostly known for Highlander
I often kind of wonder if his career didn't get a hit from the Highlander movies. Some of those movies were just terrible. And this is from someone who loved the series but those movies... yuck . There might also be some of the usual Hollywood age ism in there… It's hard for a lot of actorS and actresses to get parts over the age of 50.
@@latsnojokelee6434 the only truly bad highlander movie was the source...that was an aweful mess! If i ever get a chance to meet him I want to ask him why?
Wish he would come back as immortal living in way distant future where he an old freinds untied ect ect an is writing tell all book because they have been found out
hope he is fit enogh adrian paul is underated love highlander series movies and the story behind and everything must come to end but he is now a master of sword master i love martial art to and is very nice to know it what he saying but not really used in real life situation must be cool as fuck in corna 2020 you need in usa a gun not sword sorry but love you so to able to entertain the fans and student in his school in los angeles !!!!
Adrian Pauls's staff is far more concerned with money than the customer experience. They screwed me over a 15-dollar pass and didn't finish my experience without explanation. I wouldn't travel across the country to do it again.!! They refused to let me complete the experience without explanation and then sent me an email about the 15-dollar pass that I had the receipt for. Completely ruined my experience and took my money. If you have any problems make sure you make a scens on the spot because they will not fix it later;;
He would still get residuals from any reruns. He probably gets a little bit when they saw the DVD sets. But they haven't been playing his reruns in a while. But hopefully he invested a lot of his money well when he was on the series.
