It's almost like their anti-tracking campaign was just that, a temporary campaign to get people to switch to iPhone until it was no longer needed by Apple to make more money

GrapheneOS actually discovered that lockscreen bypass vulnerability completely independently, and decided to spend their time developing a patch rather than filing a bug report upstream. Unfortunately by the time they published the bug report, it was a duplicate issue. So the GrapheneOS developer that discovered the vulnerability didn't end up with any of that $70k. But it shows how dedicated GrapheneOS is to keeping its users secure.

Paying over 300 for a phone had always seemed ludacrous to me. Phones from two three and even 4 years ago work excellently for waaay cheaper. I just got a Samsung s10 and im loving the features and camera quality.

What made me become disillusioned with smartphones was when a friend of mine showed me a Xiaomi phone he bought a while back, and it was honestly one of the worst user experiences I've ever seen. The phone was bloated to the brim with adware that came pre-installed with the device. You would open basic applications such as the file manager and be bombarded with unskippable advertisements when navigating through the settings, you'd even get ads when scrolling through pictures and videos in the gallery, even when the phone wasn't even connected to the internet, it was appalling.

The idea that you can't sideload your apps seems completely ridiculous to me. It's my phone and I should be able to do whatever I want with it. Iphone users are like children that need their hands to be held at all times or they will get lost.

I love this channel so much. I think what I enjoy the most is how chill and relaxed all of his videos are. No loud intros, no music, very little cuts and straight to the point. Not to mention how entertaining all of the videos are.

i have been an android user since 2012, and at that time and still today, android phones cost less than iphones. (eg: galaxy s22 ultra costs 38999 bucks, while the iphone 14 pro max costs above 50k in my country's currency), which problably means im still gonna be an android user, especially because i can't live without the option to sideload apps.

damn I miss the early android days of unlocked bootloaders when basically any phone could run custom ROMs and kernels/radios/schedulers/etc... modern smart phones fucking suck
