After working with inspired homeowners for over a decade, we understand that it's hard to visualize a whole house popping up in your backyard. That's why Inspired ADUs offers a Site Assessment Exercise where we map your yard and plop in some ADU floor plans. Then we walk you through how each one might look and feel in your yard, how it will affect the main house, how we think about privacy and entryways, how we consider the layout and flow of your space, your relationship to the neighbors, and other important ADU design ideas.
We map your yard with the Assessor's Parcel Map and Google Earth (not 100% bulletproof, but a good starting point!) so that we see the potential of your yard.
We can then place our Predesigned ADUs into your yard - rotating - mirroring - and exploring different sizes to show you what is possible! These ADUs are all proven and loved designs that we've built for other California homeowners over more than a decade of building casitas, backyard cottages, granny flats, guest houses and ADUs.
