Surprisingly, Hana was the one that I like the most. She's definitely hitting that late 60s/70s look with the 70s big hair and long boots. She definitely has the one of the better themes and motifs, lemon icons are so fun imo. Her dress could be better like you said and had she been made prior, she definitely could've gotten more quality and easily would've been a top tween for me... Series 5 Tweens has me conflicted fr. They're cute but man it's just missing that oomf that the tweens used to have. I could've forgiven them for the stands cause most of the tweens I have aren't on stands but the loss of the wrist... articulation is what connects me to a doll. It's why I obsessed over my Liv doll who had more articulation than my Barbie dolls...it's could've been worse but it could also be better...idk. Idk what's gonna be in store for the tweens after this. I hope this is just a bump in the road but I really don't know for sure. I'll probably get them mostly because I genuinely love the tweens but for a steep sale for sure. I'm just hoping that another tween boy gets released. Make it a playset or whatever just release him😭

Can you pop these tweens’ heads off like the Head Swap line? That would be quite good if you already have them and really want an articulated body for one of these 😅
I'd think they're built different since dolls with that gimmick require specific conditions for safe playing😬 *but* it'd be reaaally cute if that worked, it would add longevity to the swapping heads gimmick, kinda like how Barbie carried the swappin styles for a few releases in the old Fashionistas era. But since there is nothing pointing to that in the box I kinda doubt they were made with the swapping heads mechanic in mind...
Most vinyl doll heads can be popped off if you heat them up so these can definitely be body swapped, not sure what the neck is like on the headswaps so like what keeps them on yknow? Like is the head gonna pop right back off? 😬😂
You did these new tweens in the order I like them. Hana looked a lot better when you put the earrings on her, lol. The little camera is so cute. The lack of wrist articulation and stand irritates me. I think I will embroider that dress!
I’m torn on this one bc she has some really good elements but also some really bad elements. I love the jacket, bag, earrings, and boots. I don’t love the dress, hair, or glasses, and I really don’t love the lack of a stand and wrist articulation.
She could use a tonner for her hair too bright. The dress looks like one that was on a Fashionista from this year. I just got Ivy Winks and Oliva Flutter from this line for cheaper than what this one cost. Also why does she come with a cooler it's so random.
My fav accessory is the cooler which is sad because we've seen that item before. Her holding the camera looks so stupid because of the lack of articulation. Sigh.
So cute but so disappointing is exactly the vibe, like they all feel like if they had just a tiny bit more effort, a tiny bit more of a refined visual identity, they could be so good but theyre all just missing *something*. Like take Ms Groove and make her dress one of those lil side cut outs with the metal loop in the middle and it would be so extra or like give me something crazy with her hair but its just not there.
This line is just bad from the lack of wrists and stands to the designs feeling off and not hitting as hard as they used to. It’s one thing to lose RH but OMG and tweens as well is just so sad.
I think if her hair were less "toxic pee" colored and her lips matched the coral of her boots it would make a huge difference. I don't know what these people are thinking. Like do they not have eyes? Such tiny tweaks can elevate a doll.
