I have bad anxiety and have been watching your videos when I feel upset or sick and I can safely say... I've never loved a youtube channel as much as yours. It's extremely relaxing and your coloring techniques BLOW me away. This is the coloring talent I strive to have one day.
You do not know me but I just had to say that I think you are a very talented colorist. Watching you show your gorgeous completed pages, while you explain your choice of medium and or technique, has been wonderful. I cannot wait for your next "show and tell".

Hello, Absolutely loved this video. Talk about inspiration! You do such beautiful work. I do have a question about how you do the splatter paint background without getting the paint all over the picture you are going to color? If you do it after you colored it, how do you keep the splatter from covering the picture where you don’t want it? Love the randomness look but nervous about messing up the picture. Thanks for video and will be starting my ink journey after this. Take care!
Thank you. Yes I do the splattering after the page is complete, it is the last thing I do. If there is a area I do not want any splatter I will tear a piece of paper to lay down on the page do the splattering then remove the paper... it keeps the splatter from getting onto that spot.
Loved seeing more follow alongs I would love to do - hmm your missing the beauty of horror books do you see yourself getting any of these books in the future? Ps looking forward to your supplies video - also did you see there are new colours being released for the distressed inks- they have just released speckled egg.

I just found out about you....you’re amazing! I want to color like you! I have distress inks, but only a set of 48 Prisma colors. A set of 72 Koh-I-Noor pencils. I didn’t buy the new premiers because I heard such bad things, they’re not made well! Would you recommend another brand? Or I should just practice with what I have......lol! After seeing your videos made me really want to get a few distressed inks to play with. It seems like you could get a larger area done more quickly than a lot of other methods. Somehow I went from German coloring books to listening to Swedish music. For some reason My Summer Walk reminded me of Molly Sandén's Fånga En Sommar, and I had to stop and listen to it. I then came back to check out the rest of your collection. Another comment says you're the Bob Ross of adult coloring. I'll have to check out more of your channel. I love Bob Ross. Although I've bought supplies, I've never gotten started attempting to paint. I might have to give adult coloring a try. A coloring book and pencils are less intimidating than a blank canvas and oil paint cleanup.
Beautiful work. It never crossed my mind to use distress inks in the colouring books. I have used just about everything else but it just never dawned on me. I'm going to watch your video on it next.
Karen, what an awesome supply of books you have. I am extremely interested in getting into using the distressed inks. What colours would you suggest to start with, and are the mini pads big enough to start with. It would seem like a more economical way to start.
Yes they are, the mini's are a great starter set. I use alot of pinks, blues, and greens because of there versatility for clouds, grasses, and because I love victorian velvet...lol browns are good for ground cover... You just pick out what colors you like, if you don't like them you will not use them...

What is “distress ink”? You seem to use it on backgrounds, from what you’ve mentioned. (Sorry if it’s a dumb question, none of the other youtubers I’ve watched have used it)

I just got my first cup of coffee and I'm enjoying the beginning of the weekend with this amazing video. It's wonderful to see all these coloring books and the work you've done on them :)
Lately i either use random number generator or get a friend to pick numbers and then i colour the pic that matches that number until i finish book then ill do the same to pick next book and continue things that way to keep me from getting bored and hopefully do books i havent touched yet in the 3 years ive been colouring

I’m new to your channel and I’ve got heaps of distress ink I use for card making and art journal pages. I’m interested to know how you apply them to a colouring page?
