I can't stop looking at your nails...........very distracting. THEY ARE SOOOOO GORGEOUS!!! AND that nail polish color is beautiful......of course your hands are so beautiful too. I hope this doesn't sound weird but they are just crazy pretty. I love your videos. I just found your channel recently and I just find your work very , very, good but I also find your voice and your coloring so soothing after a stressful day. Well, just anytime really. Thanks for sharing with us all your tips and tricks and your color choices. I hate to just copy you so much but I am terrible at choosing colors. I enjoy coloring with my pencils so much and I am not selling anything so I guess it's ok. But you are such an inspiration . Thanks for all you do.Lots of love from Texas!❤️
This is so therapeutic! My little Chewbacca is having to stay “still” he pulled a muscle. He is on his way home from the emergency room. Thanks for the pencil comfort.
Would love to see you use the Derwent inktense in some of the Colin Thompson pages or even Day we finally met pages!! As always I love your work and enjoy your videos ❤ Thank you for sharing them 😊😊😊😊
Hi Karen, I don’t think you are lucky, I think you are blessed, for always working, and taking care of your family...I too have been just as blessed for working 45 years non stop, and taking care of my husband, our children, and my sisters family when she needed me because she was working so much! Great video, and fun too! Lol...bye for now! 💖💖
I bought them on Amazon I can not find that exact one but this is the sellers new colors: www.amazon.com/dp/B07XKXGZY2/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_dHa0EbHADMH0Z
Hi Ms Karen! Aft much thought, I just acquired a full set of Pablos! Yeow right?!! Still swatching / organizing. May elect for a case - once that’s most comfortable, it’s difficult adapting to a tin (even if the tin is very nice!). Looking forward to watching these videos on the TV screen. Ty!
There’s open stock, but after hearing from Erin / Simple Art for Adults, that Pablos are kind of between Prisma’s & Polychromos, I thought it was worth the splurge. She’s done a very good ‘swatching Pablos’ video. Ty Karen!
If your referring to the one I am putting the samples of blue and brown in, here is a link: www.amazon.com/dp/B00PG75FMA/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_.SXYEbCR6YF6N
Enjoyed the video! I so understand your wrist issue. I’ve broken my left wrist 3 times and my right wrist 2 times - so I get it! I color with compression gloves and never burnish. I’ve learned to embrace the white of the paper. I do light layers with my Polys.
Less pigment, in the mixing of the core base of the pencil - like a wax mixture or a graphite and wax blend. Then there are the cohesive ingredients which include temperature and curing of the “Colored Core” that actually makes the pencil. Those are some of the properties of making a pencil.
Hi, the faber castel albrecht durer watercolor pencils are really nice and softer than the polychromos and also the same colours and compatable with the poly’s ad water to them and they are amazing!!!
Which swatch book do you recommend so that all swatches can fit in it? I only have the 150 set of Prismacolors, a 72 set of Brutfuners I love them both. I also have a 48 set of Daler Rowney. They are ok, and I bought a 24 set of Pentel watercolor pencils to try watercolor, I cannot find any reviews on the Daler Rowney and the Pentels, so as a newbie I don’t know what to think of them. I will do the swatches you just did, to see if I can form myself an opinion of them!

Thank you, I had my daughter help me do this in microsoft Word using a table and changing the rows and columns to look like they do, I don't have this program anymore so I cannot do a video on it
ZucchiniKitty no worries. Thank you for the reply. I played around but couldn’t come up with something I liked. I actually ended up find a great printable I went with instead.
I am going to get castle art color pencils for Christmas I can't wait to try them out I have their gel pens and I love them so much they Last four months for me 🤗😇😍🥰❤️
Of you could only have two sets of pencils (even if they require water), what would they be? Also, can you tell me the same for coloring books if you could only own two?
Pencils would be Prismacolor Premiers and Luminance, Colorbooks would be Hanna Karlzon *Magical Dawn and Rita Berman any of her books, for inking The Ink House by Rory Dobner (I colored in this book with Distress Ink)
ZucchiniKitty I only have the 120 set of castle art pencils. Since the colors are so similar would you still recommend getting the prismacolors? I’m looking to add to mine.
ZucchiniKitty ive noticed you do a ton of work with distressed ink. Do you have a video that teaches the basics of this medium? Do you use it mainly for backgrounds? Are they pencils? I could have sworn distressed ink was a stamp pad! Shows how wrong I am! I want to learn a lot more about it but don’t know where to start.
@@Cuddlefishluv Distress ink is a ink pad, I use the blending tools to lay down the ink, you can also use them as a water color by placing the ink on a plastic sheet and use a water brush to paint on the page... I have used it to color the images as well as to do backgrounds. Here is a link to one of my videos I do both of the sets I mentioned: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jBMk2Jsr5kk.html
@@Cuddlefishluv You can use any set of pencils you like, I just listed the ones I like the best per your question. I think pencils are a personal decision and personal choice, it depends on your style, comfort, and ease of use... some people like hard pencils some like soft. Some people prefer water based some chalk based. It really is up to what you like and are comfortable using. 😊
Hello! What kind of swatch book is the big one with the Luminance pencils colors in it? Did you make it or can I purchase it? Thanks again for all your great informative videos! I learn a lot from watching you!
The one with the Luminance pencils swatched in it is a Ruby Charm Colors Creative Companion by Susan Carlson here is a link: www.amazon.com/dp/1703636546/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_mSXYEbEEAYK6M
