I can right a book about me and my brothers staying up to watch adult swim for the funny shows and Anime. Inuysha will always and forever have a special place in my 💙.
The sad thing is, it was made that way, so today would be this way. There was an ease presented to us, so many would not know how to handle life's difficulties.
Oh God....the nostalgia. Inuyasha was my first anime. I watched Inuyasha before I even knew what anime was. I remember trying to explain it to my friends and they all looked at me like I'd grown a second head. Then of course there was the issue of figuring out the storyline because all of the episodes were random.
@@amysmith87 I don't know if it just happened to be the time that I stayed up until or what, but I almost never got FMA on Toonami. It was always Inuyasha or DBZ.
@@MrsLAnderson24 i cant remember the time it would come on. But ill be honest i didnt see both animes till around 2010. When i was 23. I never really knew much till then. I was pretty late to everything
okay but literally my TV had an alarm function so this is how i would wake up to watch cased closed before school and how i ended up setting my alarm for earlier to watch inuyasha LMFAO
For anyone who wants this feeling when they go to sleep, there are people who upload 9 hour recorded blocks of Toonami and adult swim replays with commercials included. I fall asleep to it once a week or so
Tbh, that phenomenon cannot be replicated. It's just hit differently when you're a kid and didn't know what anime was at the time. I could describe the feeling as otherworldly, magical and captivating. All these were an abundance of spiritual feeling.
I use to be dead sleep and woke up as soon as i heard this song just to watch it. At 51 years old, I hum the ending while my wife looks at me like I'm crazy...
The unofficial ending theme of the Adult Swim anime block. Spent many a night going to bed at 3am in the mid 2000's with this song being the last thing I heard. Funny that most people who have watched Inuyasha probably remember it most for this.
the nostalgia actually hurts omfg, my mom was a huge inuyasha fan, so every morning before preschool up through like third or fourth grade, we’d watch it before school. it’s the first anime i ever watched, and it’s the one i’ve rewatched the most. this song especially was my favorite of all the op/end songs
I once actually set my alarm so I could hear this song and watch Inuyasha past midnight! Those were the good old days...my mom would come in the room yelling get your a** to bed!! I couldn't help but put the volume up too high, it was an amazing song then and now. 😅
Or the trumpets from yu yu hakisho…. Or the cowboy bebop theme.. Man I used to set an alarm on my little wrist watch as a kid and try to sleep for like 30 minutes to an hour so I can get the most out of my Friday and Saturday nights… I don’t know how many times I would open my eyes and see one show on and then wake back up and see another show on… good times
Me and my little brother used to struggle to stay awake long enough to watch Inuyasha, we often fell asleep waiting but this song would wake us up a lot.
I had watched yugioh, and pokemon, and anime’s like that felt like regular cartoons as a kid. Inuyasha was the first time it felt different. This wasn’t just some “kids cartoon” like I was used to. This was unique. And have watched anime ever since. Love inuyasha.
Core: I remember seeing Adult Swim at this time and these slow moving demon monsters would be on and I’ve been looking for whatever that was for a long time. It was anime style but there were no characters like Inuyasha or Naruto, it was all these Giant monsters and they’d be taller than trees slowly walking through a field by the woods at night. Creepy but it’s a core memory for me and I want to find it again.
so true... Man I use to wake up from a nightmare and after I did I hear this song and look at the screen and it was on. And it was a school night that I can't forget. Good times.
Childhood. 😢 I miss these nights, got me trouble sometimes. Getting caught staying awake or accidentally falling asleep in class because I stayed up so late. 😢
Imagine trying to stay up just to watch inuyasha and instead you fall asleep right before it and wake up to the ending. To be fair that show has the best ending songs
The nostalgia 😭 This was my first anime when I was 3 My mother grew us up on anime and she taught me that as Christians, we can learn from a lot of things.
