I honestly really love how mature and accepting Kagome was with inuyashas feelings for Kikyo. Keep in mind she’s a highschooler, and yet she was determined to find common grounds with kikyo, and she knew she couldn’t change how he felt
Well, in the end, he did change how he felt when he believed that he was destined to be with Kagome when he was inside the jewel, and they got married in the end. He basically confessed that Kagome is his true love.
That's true...yet kikyo on the other hand did nothing but hate kagome. And if there is one person who is suffering from that love triangle it should be kagome because Inuyasha easily forgets her whenever she sees kikyo. And she can't do anything about it because kikyo was inuyasha's first love💔
@@user-nh9sh2ds2q It's not that Inuyasha forgets Kagome, it's just that he was so wrapped in his survivor's guilt regarding Kikyo that he thought he had to wait on Kikyo hand and foot. When it mattered most, Inuyasha actually chose Kagome over Kikyo. The 1st time was Kikyo tried to drag Inuyasha down with her and the latter chose to escape when he heard Kagome's voice. The 2nd time was when Inuyasha escaped from the illusion of him and Kikyo placed on him by Naraku (this is when Kikyo stole Kagome's jewel shards) when he thought of Kagome. The 3rd time was during their fight with Kao and Inuyasha almost joined Kikyo in the afterlife until he chose to wake up after he heard Kagome's voice. During those times, Inuyasha could've easily ignored Kagome but chose not to.
Yo this was one of the most painful ships I've ever had. The amount of times inuyasha chose kikyo killed me. Kagome was the real MVP staying with him a this time. It's like they would walk a mile and once kikyo came back they'd take too many steps backkk 😭
Same but I honestly sympathize with Inuyasha and why he ran after Kikyo. He would’ve moved on ages ago if she wasn’t pushed back into his life all of a sudden.

I agree and you can tell that Koga cared for her and wanted to make sure she was protected and safe, and also you can't blame him for yelling at InuYasha
Problem is he was dealing with two opponents at the same time. Koga wouldn't have fared any better so he really shouldn't be calling Inuyasha out on putting Kagome in danger.
@@ericahorn2422 That might have been in the beginning, but that wasn't the case after a little while. He loves/loved her for her kindness to others, how she taught him it wasn't good to go after humans for food, how she cared about his whole pack and their well being, etc.
At one point he did love kikyo, then when he meet kagome he fell in love with her. But when they resurrected kikyo I think he felt obligated to her because she died. Which is why he pushed kagome away at some points. I love kagome and inuyasha they are so cute together.
But most times she needs to stop spoiling Shippo with candy or stop Inuyasha from hitting him. That Fox tyke is using her like carpet to protect him from Inuyasha fist like when he said "do not help me" in his duel against Soten the thunder demon girl child (when Shippo thought it was a adult thunder demon)
i don't get embarrassed but i do laugh a lot at this part of the scene when kagome and shippo are in the blue flames and then inuyasha screams kagomes name ,such a good and funny scene
They were trapped inside a demon's belly, courtesy of Naraku. Only Inuyasha was in position to get the crew out of there, but he needed Kagome to keep the jewel shard pure or he would go full demon again.
Kagome is one of those girls that honestly deserves so much better. She had the patience and everything for Inuyasha to keep choosing Kikyo over her. Idk anybody who deserves more than Kagome 🥲
Inuyasha actually chose Kagome over Kikyo when it mattered most like when it was life or death. For example, during their 2nd encounter with Kikyo, Inuyasha chose to break free when he heard Kagome's voice, when Inuyasha was being tempted by an illusion of Kikyo, he remembered Kagome's advice that he's not alone anymore which and chose to live (this was when Kikyo took Kagome's jewel shards, and for some reason that part was omitted in the anime), and during the fight with Kao, and Inuyasha woke up when he heard Kagome's voice when he was being tempted by Kikyo in his dream. And Inuyasha showed great patience when he went to the well every 3 days while waiting 3 years for Kagome to come back despite the well not working and the jewel being erased from existence.
See nobody ever seems to understand this and it makes me so sad.. inuyasha was never IN love with kikyo (he did love her but their whole relationship was about escaping loneliness and responsibilities) and he was already in love with kagome by the time kikyo was revived... his struggle was never about the two girls.. it was always about what he wanted and needed vs what he thought he deserved and thought he was responsible for... he always wanted to be with kagome and build a life with her but he believed he didn't deserve that life he believed he was responsible for kikyos death and he falsely believed he owed her his own death in return... it didn't take him the whole series to pick a girl... it took him that long to believe he could be deserving of the life and love he wanted
@@jalenc1997 Exactly. Inuyasha's feelings toward Kikyo after the latter came back was pure survivor's guilt. It took the fight with Kao for him to realize that he had to let go of that guilt.

I don't think it's actually a cure everything he put in it actually helps boost your immune system a lot and that will help you get over the cold faster. He calls it a cure because it probably seems like it. Remember in Europe during the 1200s people thought making medicine was witchcraft, humans were pretty ignorant back then.

One of the best shows all-around, even with voice-casting. Lately, female characters in anime are all voiced by women who sound high-pitched in the same exaggerated way; no one sounds like normal women with their own unique voices, like Kagome, Sango, and Kagura. Not to say there aren't high-pitched women in the world---it's just that anime seems to have lost the realism of different voices.
The only reason I don't like kikyoinuyasha is because kikyo is very serious, very mature. Everything about their relationship was serious and about changing inuyasha. Kikyo never fixed him, never knew what he had been through in his life. Kagome learned who he really was, his life, and she never tried to change him. She made him laugh and taught him how to make friends. She softened his heart and showed him off while kikyo hid him.
OMG I'm not alone in this! I always thought Kikyo/Inuyasha was just a flop from the beginning. It was was never about love just companionship. The major difference between Kikyo and Kagome was Kikyo wanted to change Inuyasha so she could live an ordinary life and the jewel to disappear. However, Kagome said she cares about him just the way he is. True love is loving who that person is and enjoying their presence. Inuyasha never showed his true funny/goofy self with Kikyo anyway.
the anime plot was so simple yet the execution of how the characters work, develop and overall storytelling is so complex. nothing can compare. this will always remain one of the best anime of all time.
For me, they portray an older brother and younger brother energy in real life. Sesh is like the eldest brothers I've met in real life, mature and have a quiet strength. Inu is the younger brothers I've dated and met, fun, adventurous, and a bit rebellious.

Inuyasha was my very first anime I had ever seen. It's kind of nostalgic to watch all these clips and see the relationship between Kagome and Inuyasha and how it blossomed over the seasons. I wasn't one for shipping at first, but I'm glad Inuyasha and Kagome were meant to be. As far as Kikyo goes, I do believe that she and Inuyasha were genuinely in love, but I think that after some time, Kikyo saw the bond between Inuyasha and Kagome, which is why after a while, she started to back off and stopped trying to interfere. Perhaps I'm giving Kikyo too much credit, but I am a total Inuyasha and Kagome fan. I love them both and they are very cute and perfect for one another.
Honestly after the first episode where she shot Inuyasha to the tree 🌲 and how she was mean to Kagome and tried to take Inuyasha to hell I didn’t like her.
Kagome is mad cute. Idk why ppl hate her. I can understand if they don't love her but to completely hate on her? Kagome is pretty relatable to me. Like her personality is pretty realistic. She is a sweet girl but shows annoyance and anger when needed. She actually tries to help and even if she isn't always actively fighting she is understanding towards others and tries to do her part as a miko. I like her cuz she is sweet but she shows different emotions and traits as well.
They basically threw their brains out of their heads coz they forgot that Kagome was a high-schooler. Dunno why they expected her to be so damn matured all the time when majority of the high-schoolers we have today are way worst. Psh! I always forget how cute these two are together, wish they'd had a few more moments like this. ^.^ And I love how Inuyasha chuckled after she said his medicine tasted bad, has to be one oft he only times he laughs in the whole series.

I've watched many anime couples throughout my anime watching years. And many love- hate relationship. But it ain't nothing in front of Inuyasha and Kagome. The ways in which they fight, protect, care, show affection is so touching and wholesome. Kagome brought that softness and childish side in Inuyasha that Kikyo could never bring. Thats love. I love them together. ❤❤
Does the scene with Inuyasha looking through the scrapbook kind of break anyone else's heart? It's all over his face: he's really seeing that, while Kagome's basically become the foundation of his life, she's got this whole other life on the other side of the well that he can't ever really be a part of. I think it didn't really hit him until this moment that there's part of her he's shut out to. I'm not saying they should be absolutely everything to each other, that's not healthy, but Inuyasha has such a hard time opening himself to anybody the way he has Kagome, it's sad to see him look isolated.
The ending was great but it broke my heart knowing that although she is happy, she would never be able to be part of her world again or see her family. But, I hope that we will learn more of their life after she moved to the feudal era in the upcoming sequel announced to come this fall.
No wonder Kogome is always mad at InuYasha, she has confessed her love for him, to him, several times! That dense dog doesnt even realise it though, ugh!
i think the only scene you shoulda added was in episode 63 when inuyasha falls asleep in kagome's bed while she's studying. oooh also that moment after inuyasha after the moth demon fight where he's trying to wash off the blood and she leans in on him a little. just my 2 cents but i liked those moments too

Aw, I loved Inuyasha. The series was adorable having a little bit of everything. The music totally got to me, It was always lovely. I enjoyed seeing relationships grow. I finished all the episodes and movies in three days going on a total binge. I'm so happy there is a next generation series out yet disappointed. I really would love to see more of Inuyasha and Kogome. I have turned to fanfiction to fill the void. And I'll probably re-watch the series.

Kikyo killed her own kind gentle self to get over naraku it seems and that manifested as kagome so only her skill was left but not her empathy it seems, she could have helped naraku too
All these new romance animes are in a league of their own, but nothing will ever make me forget the passion I had for these two, and this series. I love this series even after all these years. :’) Damn, I feel old.
