Even if the cheater has changed their ways you can't help the thoughts and or memories that randomly pop into your head at any given moment that make you relive everything all over again.

Yes dear a prayer of choice will never get answered. I am married for 13 years my hubby is cheating for 13years he never stop i have been praying for him for nothing. And i have becoming to understand that we should never pray for a cheating husband because he choose to cheat.
My husband cheated on me in 2020 in the middle of an evangelistic gospel campaign. He is a minister of the gospel. In 2021, these past 3 months we have attempted to reconcile, however if anything the level of disrespect is worse and I discovered text exchanges suggesting clandestine meetings with another ministers wife, recently. I have walked away. His priorities are being on Facebook, and there has been a lack of real intimacy and transparency that suggests he is emotionally entangled with someone else. Living on my own is best for my mental health wellbeing and sanity. It is better to be alone and at peace then to be constantly concerned about his emotional distance and lack of intimacy. I am not angry with him but do not feel secure, so it's best being alone. I pray for our individual healing, but being apart is safer for me.

SharonLovestolove It is difficult and hurtful to look in your spouse's face everyday and act like your body, mind and spirit are okay. Separation is necessary. Both people have to sustain from cheating and seek counseling together and separately until a decision is made. It is difficult to move forward with date nights and other surface activities if remorse, healing and deep discussions have not began. If you have been married for years and find out your spouse has cheated this is TRAUMA for women not just EGO! Your heart is broken and your soul needs to heal (RC said that in one of his videos).

Now ex husband is a serial cheater and tried to get me to accept it and share him with all the others because he came home to me - nope. Can’t be w/ someone who lies, disrespects and exposes me to illness and stalker side chicks who have no shame .
I think the bias that society has when a man cheats versus when a woman does should be addressed. Men cant forgive women for cheating but they expect forgiveness. The Bible says those who wont forgive will not be forgiven so men should know when they won't forgive women then they wont be forgiven for their sins. If a man cheats you can forgive him but you are not required to stay with him and God does not expect it.
Amen pastor, no woman should have to hang in there especially if they are being abused. It's sad but I've seen pastors tell women to stay. I've even seen so called prophets tell women 2 marry a slick back, silver tongue abusive man.
I agree talk to your children about sex and being in a healthy relationship. Give them time. Allow them to ask questions and Express themselves. So they can be healthy and loyal husbands and wives or just the wiser, in any relationship. Respect. Yes honesty. Amen.
It seems that the marriage can only recover from adultery if the man cheated, and it's almost expected for the woman to forgive. Men can't keep that same energy when the shoe's on the other foot for some reason 🤔. I'm not staying with an unfaithful man.
I'm a male victim and this is the most pain I've ever felt. I think the difference is that when most women cheat it's been done maliciously with the intent to cause pain with or without some kind of justification. Most often done to a loving faithful husband that she resents. While with men it's usually fleshly lust. Both are evil. But for me, my wife was my best friend, I never would have thought it possible....but here I am.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I too was battling cancer when I came home to find that my wife of 13 years had abandoned me and moved 1600 miles away to move in with her affair partner. She took our daughter with her and I didn't even get to say goodbye to my daughter.
We have to be smart handling the adulterous affair in a marriage!!so we must be more diligent to take the responsibility,to be honest,to be focused on gaining the Trust again!!nothing is earned without work!! it's a matter which affects both sides and without wisdom we can achieve nothing!!so it depends of our growing as human beings to bring again the normal condition in a marriage.!!when immaturity dominates things then the failure is unavoidable!!👌👌✌️
If he cheats on you by taking him back you are actually saying to him it's ok to cheat. It's also shocking how many women blame the other woman more than thier man . Like he was led astray , waken up.
I regret I did not have enough knowledge and understanding about marriage or just being in a relationship, no one prepared me. I think if my family would have talked about it when I was coming up. I would have been more wiser when introduced to sex or being in a relationship. Lord, I been there. Always better think how you would feel if your husband or wife cheated first or your boyfriend or girlfriend. Sometimes. I've seen heartbreak make some persons more free to become an adulterer.
Husband became friends with a man with $ he was impressed - this man committed adultery next thing I know my husband stepped out on me. It was very hurtful.
Women I find cheat too but they keep it secret. But men seem to get too hungry when they find that one who appears to satisfy their hunger for sex. It's just sex to them? Maybe or maybe not.
