It would be beneficial to consider engaging in a discussion with Helen Zille or perhaps Gayton McKenzie, or any other individual outside of the ANC. A different perspective could provide a refreshing change

The tail can't wagg the dog. If it is so important why didn't you got 50%+ in the elections - I don't see you argument. Inferiority will harm you till the change.
SMWX faces issues headon, so real-centric, all of u who are useless, comparing this platform to your mainstream media, catch a wake up and get out of smwx. U r in denial of atrocities exerted on us Africans, stick to yo biznews, ann7,sabc, enca etc. This is not a narrative, but TRUTH IN MANIFESTATION.
I’m a lawyer and I’m cringing… how do we unlearn everything we have been taught and have believed and in circumstances where conformity has brought us a modicum of success? Please bring him back to help unschool us.
I feel your statement. Am not a lawyer and I don't understand the profession. But I think you can unlearn what you have been taught. Am in a process of unleaning everything that I thought was the truth that I have learned from colonizers. Please join in as we unlearn the lies. I am having fun and am feeling life is exciting.
Please be kind to yourself...It's not knowledge that we need,...but Identity..We need to discover who we are... Knowledge can only express who we are... without your own Identity, you can only express other people's identity
@@senzomemela1311 Well said. I am in a journey with my kids. You will be surprised what my 10 year old understands himself. Though in a white school because of where we reside. But he is amazing. It starts with identity.
Advocate Muzi Sikhakhane is a highly esteemed and valuable asset to the South African black community. His insights and perspectives are consistently insightful and thought-provoking, making him a respected figure in the field.
A lot of our black ppl think that they've arrived cause they are driving cars & have bonds. It's our responsibility to share messages like these to our friends & famlies to educate them that we are still colonised.
Using white people for our failure to govern the country and those like advocate Sikhakhane who cause confusion, but when they were benefiting they keep quiet to wrong doings and choose sides Now he wants to portray himself innocent What a shame?
This conversation is beyond south African dynamics the advocate has spoken generationally and has raised conciousness at the level of the entire African continent something will give soon! thank u SMWX for this
I turned to differ. Young intelligentsia in Nigeria and west of Africa they see South Africa's political culture as better. Some African state are worse man. From a change point of view we ought to learn from other African countries and manage our transition. But to state that South Africans transition is the same its not true. It is only South Africa that has the concept of the so called coloureds. I have not seen tricameral system that has maintained it self pre-1994 and post 1994. Maybe its necessary maybe not. But South African transition project is some what unique based on the timing.
Sizwe, that was brilliant!! Adv Sikhakhane is a treasure of knowledge✊🏿. How do we counter the hijacking of this moment once again by so-called foundations & monopoly capital? I'm a so-called "black middle-class", early 40s but despondent that we once again will come out on the wrong side of another crucial moment of our history.
Each time I listen to Advocate Sikhakhane my soul sinks and I cry. I keep asking myself what's the point of it all. Why do we still work within this system of oppression. Why aren't we doing anything to liberate our future generations. We really must protect Adv Muzi Sikhakhane, Gogo Aubrey and Dr Mpofu-Walsh because they are us. Their voices have been sent by our ancestors who perished for our liberation that we never attained.
Indeed Shandu. The predicament my people find themselves in gives me sleepless nights. What pains me the most is that our generation is busy with chasing women, driving the latest German machine and downing the finest Scotch. Can people not see that we are fighting a battle of our lives within this monstrous system that seeks to sink us all. Our land is in the hands of white invaders.
My heart sank bro, he says the things that we have been suspecting but we're hoping ate not real. I think it's time that we all study the research and work that Black America has done when it comes to the impact of slavery, decolonization and so forth. Then start doing the ground work with our children, otherwise the rainbow euphoria will also lead them into.being. lambs too.
Slavery of a special type is a powerful concept, in a sense explains why the ANC failed to capitalise on an overwhelming mandate to transform South Africa, because it feared the White baas😢
The real sell outs are the ones who stole from us for their personal benefit. They didn't use the loot to uplift their communities instead they gave us the worst services RDPs of poor quality, dirty water, dirty streets, dirty hospitals with no medicines and health personnel, loadshedding, violent crimes, poor quality education. They're unpatriotic, they don't love this country and it's people they love themselves and their positions but they use our plight to get those positions in order to access resources and steal under the pretence of serving us.
That is because he is wrong. Sorry, but someone has to say it! All South Africans want the same thing: economic freedom to put the pain of the past to bed forever. All we are arguing, is what road to take. Racist Nationalist socialism has been holding SA back since 1948. Let’s try capitalism!
Unfortunately critical thinking usually not a checkout item… over correction of our educated blacks is embarrassing. We see it and we hate it Sir, your voice is valuable for days on end.
I agree with my senior comrade. The owners of capital have always used the "economic" stability bait to hold the ANC hostage since CoDESA. Sometimes I find some semblance of truth in the theory that Zimbabwe had to be punished severely to show an example of what would happen if the ANC changed course.
You are not listening, ANC is where they are because of capital funding. They were paid to be the disaster that they are. I know this pill is the size of the universe for you to swallow that your own are even more corrupt that what we see in the ANC.
@@Josephalive101However Apartheid is a Primary source of black people plight perpetuated for More than 300 years i.e Stole Their LAND, Took their cattles, Denied them Quality Education, Dehumanize them and, and.... Yes Blame ANC, but Apartheid is the undisputed Evil of our demise....
Slaves kept in their own land! I salute you highly on this Advocate! Against the future belongs to our young people more than to us the oldies. Thank you!
What has race got to do with it ??? Do you not understand there are millions of white people who love black people. We are just sick of the corruption, murder, robbery and an incompetant self serving government.@DumaM-ir7rk
The term "apartheid" is not directly mentioned in the South African Constitution. The term "genocide" is directly mentioned 11 times in the Constitution of Rwanda.
Im on my knees to demonstrate my appreciation to Adv Skhakhane. It's humbling to hear such brilliance and bravery to articulate honestly, thank you Sizwe.
One of the best interviews in a long while. Absolutely refreshing to learn that there are some among us that understand our current contradictions so well.
Yes, we must not be dettered by agents of whiteness with a black skin, and who wants us to seek a white messiah, a white messiah must save white and we will have our black messiah
I think African with the same understanding should be ask to have the same discussion and again and again a specially national broadcasting channel until action is taken
People of Africa need to follow examples of countries in Asia who were colonized and who have claimed back their dignity by claiming their sovereignty. They were successful because they stood as a united force. SA needs to lead this change and the rest will follow. I think the protests in Kenya is the start of an African spring!
Unity is not easy, when the country it's self is a colonial creation. You have different nations and civilisation. Bophuthatswana was annexed without a referendum, this will a problem in the future.
Those asian countries? Cambodia? North Korea? OR Indonesia, Taiwan, etc? Go back in african history, how many dictators, how many wars and destruction? Huge capital city where the rich/benificary live and move further away and look at the how the people live.
@@petrusesterhuyzen2087 Africans are too poor to finance wars. The case in point is west Africa! African dictators are chosen by powers with invested interests in Africa. Conflicts in Africa are financed by those who have invested interests! Case in point, Mali, Bukina Faso, Niger. Asian countries such as India, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia are great examples of post colonial economies.
I’m saddened, because you guy’s have the opportunity, to be fully in control of your own destiny. I’m an African American, however, I see you all on the continent as my brothers. We are fighters and revolutionist, here in the U.S. we brought ourselves out of slavery and oppression!!! In the U.S. however, you guy’s are in your own country, and you are letting the Boars oppress you!!! How? The Boars are only 9% of the population , but they own most of your land, and they have the better jobs on your land. Now they are demanding certain ministerial positions? I wouldn’t give them Nothing!!! Remember, these are the very people that had you under an apartheid rule!!! What on earth is wrong with my brothers and sisters in SA? I would’ve have join forces with the EFF and MK party if I was the ANC president. I would take back everything, the oppressors toke from us!!! You can say what you want about Mr. Malema, but he’s about black progress!! And I applaud him for that!!!! Us blacks in the U.S. love Julius Malema, because he is a true fighter like we are in the U.S. S.A. I wish and hope, is for you guy’s to stand up and take your country back!!! Your country is full of natural resources, however, you don’t own it!! Stop letting the Oppenheimer, Rupert’s, Debeers, Gupta’s control everything!!! Stand up South Africa, we are watching you!!!!
I'm relieved to see Sizwe's job at the national broadcaster has not dampened the frankness of debates and analysis on the SMWX channel. Welldone Mphofu Junior🙌
Cry 😭😭😭 the beloved country. Something must be done fellow South Africans. Come up with strategies to halt Ramaposa from completing the selling back of our country to the white monopoly.😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔💔
Brotherman Siswe and Brotherman Advocate Muzi Sikhakhane. The truth has never been better said than the way it has been said in this episode. I enjoy listening to fellow Brothermen speaking Power-to-Truth. Thank you, Advocate Sikhakhane for standing firm!!
Adv Skhakhane always on the money!!! I can listen to him all day, some wise and insightful!!! This man needs to be treasured!!! Black Consciousness at its best!!! ❤❤❤🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
This was a fantastic interview. Advocate Sikhakhane is an intellectual giant. What saddens me as a youth is I don’t know what to do about all this. We are watching people sell us out, make bad decisions and loot right before our eyes and yet we don’t seem to have the tools to hold them accountable.
Thank you, a million times,Dr Mpofu for inviting to the platform such an astute Savant who imparts such nuggets of knowledge for a John Soap of my stature to imbibe. He's not the everyday person in our churches, schools, even our movements. He is a gem, and I admire his fearlessness! 🙏🙏❤️❤️💕💕👂👂👍👍
i was on my way to church but just happened to listen to this conversation that i clearly forgot to go😊 what a great conversation! greetings to my folks back home all the say from Austria! Blessed sunday🙏
Thanks you all you say is so true money is the root off evel the that what I have is not enough want more but wat off athers that have nothing wonder if you ever read. The Bible we must 🙏🏼 real go back to the Bible what it really 🙏🏼 love your naber
Amen better miss church and hear Christ massage through Advocate 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿This is a powerful sermon. The Gospel is about deliverance from all types of bondage
The GNU is bearing some fruits, these people want to speak about Roman Dutch laws and ideology while there is some municipality somewhere in the country who can’t deliver basic services like clean water and sanitation. People are drinking water in the rivers with animals while leaders are busy blaming each other. You cannot expect people to understand ideologies while their municipalities can’t give the backs service.
Did you listen to what he said it seems money is the new god and if you listen carefully everything that is happening even now is done on purpose it was supposed to happen then the master will come and save you
Advocate Skhakhane you are a very brilliant and brave man that is able to articulate the information correctly. Viva Skhakhane viva. The true leader of the people.
I cant agree more with Adv Skhakhane. Young people like myself, Dr Sizwe and all my lovely South Africans in the chats have an opportunity to change things for the better of everyone else(South Africans).
It just shows you the Power of Money...it will change Anyone's " Believes " and it Can Control the Outcomes of Direction of how a Country will be " going forward "...With or Without Approval of the Masses.
Money is a terrible master, so you have to shape it into a good tool for love, because I don't want them to disenfranchised us saying it's holy to be poor as they did in their colonial bible to keep black people loving their status inherited from slavery.
In all fairness, Advocate Sikhakhane made me to understand the ANC the very best I have never knew the ANC the way I know it now I salute the Advocate South African
So proud to see people who understand both internal and external factors in our political landscape. This is surely a new dawn of our democracy. We should understand from general view that it gets very dark at the end of the tunnel.
Dr. Sizwe thank you for this! Would you be so kind and bring us Judge Mogoeng Mogoeng as well. These are leaders filled with wisdom & we need their wisdom these times. Thank you for this again
Ramaphosa is using his evil tactics to destroy this my mother land. No body wanted not only to hear, but to understand what Malema was telling us about this Mr Ramaphosa.
I love you Muzi and I will like to work with you to bring back our country back to the true owners of the struggle for liberation of our forefathers land! We will take this struggle to its logical and moral conclusion.
The last part of our Advocate about us blacks attacking each other when one stand for justice and truth it reminded me of what we even witnessed in the social media the so unceremoniously called " Black Twitter"
When he said "Africans need a break" I felt that 😭😭. It hurts. May we be free from mental colonisation and indoctrination. Until we get mental freedom we will continue to be in this state.
Such a wonderful and eye opening discussion..! It's great to still have people like advocate Sikhakhane, who are intellectually fearless to advocate for black emancipation and promotes Socialist ideologies. Well done to you Sizwe for allowing us to have an opportunity to learn more about ourselves as Blacks, dusting off this inferior complex that was hammered into our minds 💪
Thank you Dr Mpofu, your timing is impeccable....our country needs to hear this bold , wise South African, at such a time... there's hope for this country.....
I like your analysis. We are sold out by certain people within a divided ANC.How can they form GNU and a coalition with DA.Mr Lekota once complained that they were sold when they were in jail
@@markanmclean6385It not an obsession but it is reversing the lies they told us about ourselves as African people, this is the priceless time when we decolonize our minds
