Ordinarily, i would much agree with the SC's line of questioning because it exposes the misapplication of laws by judge's but,he sometimes expects judges to internalize and enumerate legal principles from the top of their heads,which is impractical. An effective judge is not one that internalizes legal principle but one that's able to source the correct and applicable principles and accurately concretise them.Notwithstanding my unbiased vitriol, jugdes, like other humans are susceptible to biases and conflicts which renders them fallible. I shiver at the undeniable prospect that countless persons' lives were,and will be, ruined by the errors of our judicial officers.

Judging from these interviews you can deduce that judges don't apply the law when they hand dowm judgments, they are winging it.

Is there an hypothesis that majority of judges in the court systems are not conversant with basic legal knowledge.

Adv Ngcukaitobi must throw a line between the application of the law which allow the correct referral of the law not the knowledge. I feel the questions are unfair to the candidate, the questions need to be standard across to allow fair test to the law
