the audio warning told me straight away that i had come to the right place

51.875 was set by a works team, tube framed, Super GT car running on slick tire compound tires. As a privateer on R compound tires (or S Tire) with the original S15 crash structure (original suspension geometry too?), 52.649 is really impressive, and he's number one in terms of "Time Attack" challenge.

Very clever shifting and fantastic driving 👍👍 Could see him short shifting in some corners so cancel out oversteer

Mate, i have the full review of this car in a magazine, its a road legal car, whether he changes the front end for road use or whether the lights are just covered in black tape i dont know but its a road legal car, that is part of japanese tuning, japanese tuners dont care for race cars they are into STREET cars

Almost all of the Japanese tuner Time Attack cars are street driven / legal. But this one obviously isn't. The Cyber Evo was probably the most well known Japanese Time Attack car that is street driven.

No, that was set by a dedicated race car on full slicks, not a street legal car on street legal semi-slicks (ADVAN A050), and Suzuki-san is a privateer not a huge japanese tuning company.

Its just because of the time attack bodykit...It only takes 2mins to put headlights back in and a little bit to take the kit off.

For a car specifically based for time attack, it is a purpose built race car.

Yeah, not sure that this car would be legal, even in Japan where a formula Nippon car was converted into a road car. but even that car had to have working head lights and exhaust silencers to be legal. This is a Japanese open class time attack car which has very little in common with the road car it is based on. So no I don't think this car would be driving around on Japanese roads. It therefore is effectively a race car aside from the tyres and hence the 2nd fastest race car around Tsukuba.

Jag vet att dem är slappare i Japan när det gäller hur man får bygga, fast man måste ha framlampor, blinkers, airbags (om bilen kom med det) osv, fast om man bara bygger en gatbil och har kvar allt sånt, så kan man göra nästan vad man vill, fast denna bilen är inte gjord för att köra på vägen.

Only thing missing on that there s15 is a tail, wings, horns and maybe some fire, cause that s15 is a beast reincarnate.

You may have an old review of the car when it was road legal. However, in current state it is not road legal. Speed Hunters did a review of the car in current state. It would fail for numerous reasons. Head lights removed and replaced with carbon inserts. Roll cage that is exposed, no padded covers. These are two issues that would fail on inspection. Can easily be fixed BUT in current state it is not legal. Google "True Dedication Speedhunters" for more info on this car.

Where will you drive these cars. Limitation is 60 km/h or 80 km/h on Japanese highway.

That car scares the living hell out of me

it doesnt have headlights becuse of the rules. all runs are done in good light and dry weather so there are no point to them. if they break on track it just puts more crap on it.

So therefore in it's current trim it is not street legal (Along with the other reasons I've listed). Of course it could be street legal if you made it adhere to the law but that's an irrelevant point. Go read a book.

advan silvia out performed tiltons interiors evo first year in tsukuba by 2+ seconds. yet tilton interiors evo destroyed them in yokohama world time attack 2013 eastern creek by 3+ seconds.

1. It does not have headlights 2. There is no rear window, the rear section of the car, like the majority of the body is dry carbon to save weight 3. There are no side mirrors 4. The rear wing is wider than the body making it illegal 4. I highly doubt the car would pass any emmisions tests Saying that all Japanses tuner cars are street legal with road tires on them is shows a lack of understanding on the matter. Basic safety equipment is required for a car to function legally on roadways.

That's not true at all, sure they don't have caps on horsepowers, so you can see alot of cars with insane power driving around on the streets, but when you build it like this, removing all the saftey features and road going features and so forth, it's not legal to drive it on the road anymore.
