Ahhh this really wants me to be Aussie even more, and I even cried with this beautiful anthem, my favorite line is "For thoes who've come across the seas" because it is inviting. Oh I already memorize this anthem and it's easy for me. Australia is indeed a unique and beautiful country for me. Hope that my Australian dream will come true one day, AUSTRALIA I LOVE YOU 💕💕🇦🇺🇦🇺💕💕 from Philippines 🇵🇭 Aussie, Aussie, Aussie Oi Oi Oi 🇦🇺🇦🇺
❤️❤️❤️ Yes it is a beautiful anthem. We’re so glad to hear that you enjoyed it. We’re also so glad to hear about your love for Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 Greetings from all of us 👨👨👧
My mother was born in Charters Towers in January 1919. She met my dad during wwii and I was born in 1953 in NH. I became an Australian citizen in 2013. I have been there twice and the last time was 5 years ago. I am so proud to be a dual citizen.
I am from Sri Lanka...............But I felt proud while listen to this song more than repeating our national anthem.........I love Australia and I will defiantly come there one day
I miss Australia. My childhood wouldn't be as amazing if it weren't for Brisbane. I wouldn't be who I am today without Australia. Thank you so much my 2nd home❤️. My childhood was really really awesome.
Do you sing the hole thing it wasn't until I started high school in 2000 that I learned there was a second part to the song in pramiy School we only did the frist half
Australian here, I love that second verse so much. It’s a shame you don’t hear it very often. Hopefully they will sing it at the Brisbane games in 2032, that would be amazing.
@@williamsremi the full one or just 1 minute of it because every school I went to except 1 had 1 minute of the song (Scarborough State School did the full one)
far to many forget the line in the second verse (Probably why its not often played) "For those who’ve come across the seas We’ve boundless plains to share"
Australians all let us rejoice, for we are one and free. We’ve golden soil and wealth for toil Our home is girt by sea. Our lands abounds in nature gifts Our beauty rich and rare In histories page, let every stage To advance Australia fair. In joyful strains and let us sing Advance Australia fair. Beneath our radiant southern cross We'll toil with hearts and hands To make this commonwealth of ours Renowned of all the lands For those who’ve come across the seas We’ve boundless place to share With courage let us all combine Advance Australia fair. In joyful strains then let us sing Advance Australia fair.
The second part of the nation anthem was considered the more 'advanced' during primary. Still remember how most of us weren't able to remember all the lyrics.
One of my nephews-originally from Brazil 🇧🇷, but lived in the 🇺🇸 since 2009, when he and his 2 sisters and 2 brothers (their own little “runaway orphan tribe”) were adopted by my sister and her husband (also from Brazil 🇧🇷). Currently, Kazzy (my nephew) lives in New Zealand 🇳🇿 w/ his fiance (who happens to be 1/2 Māori!!!), but Fanny (that’s her name…😁!!!) also has family in Australia 🇦🇺, giving HER dual citizenship. When confronted w/ the dilemma that he’ll PROBABLY have to forfeit his Brazilian citizenship-and POSSIBLY his American citizenship as well!!!-Kazz’ said: “America always be me home. Me always LOVE 💕 Brasil, BUT… “Must let go of Past in order to Embrace Future!!! Fanny no give up being Fern-Matilda, or turn back on Maori heritage or family. “Fanny and Kazz bless YOU, Unca’ Patty and Auntie Lori (that’s me and my wife) ‘grandnephews and grandnieces’, little ones grow up ‘ANZies’, but STILL taught to love 💗 🇺🇸 and 🇧🇷 families 💚💛🤍🖤!!!” Kazzy’s doing VERY WELL Down Under, and looking forward to “Going Forward, Down Under”. Myself, having a BA, MA, AND Ph.D in History, my nephew and I will spend time a few hrs a week online, talking History (WHEN we can MAKE time, given the 17+ hr time difference between us…😆). My wife and I AND his 3 cousins (my daughter and sons) ALSO wish him God Speed, as well as my future niece Fanny 💚💛🤍🖤.
😊😊😊 What an amazing family story. We do hope that your family is truly able to build an amazing future here, down under, and hope you can also experience and enjoy some of our beautiful nation along the way 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
@@CreativeTrio Thank you 🙏, my Dear💚💛💙 But… Yeah… There’s always been something(s) about YOUR Beloved National Anthem I’ve always found appealing; something(s) I don’t see in OUR Beloved Star Spangled Banner 🇺🇸. Maybe it’s the following- -YOURS is like a “love letter” for not just the people of Australia 🇦🇺, but those who came before and those yet to come; -Your “love letter” might ALSO be Praise for The Land as well as the Aboriginal People, with whom those from 1788 on, learned to eventually coexist (I refer to the [shameful] Stolen Generations movement, very similar in most [dis]respects to the “cultural genocide” of the Native Americans/First Nations…☹️(I’m actually 1/8 Cherokee-Iroquois…😊)); -OUR Star Spangled Banner 🇺🇸 tends to address Old Glory 🇺🇸, even “idolizing/deifying” Her, at the expense of overlooking THE USA 🇺🇸 on whole as well We The People; -Advance Australia 🇦🇺 Fair does in one Anthem for YOU guys what takes SEVERAL folk songs for US(A) (e.g., This Land Is Your Land, This Land Is My Land; From Sea To Shining Sea; Back In America & Dancing Across The USA, from National Lampoons Vacation movies; and numerous others to boot…😁!!!); Finally… I suppose, having served in The US Marine Corps, as well as grown up “taking the hand ✋🏻 to the heart 💜” for The Pledge Of Allegiance on more occasions than I care to count, one is instilled w/ the Value of Allegiance to The Land/Republic AND The People, but NOT necessarily to Her Executive, Judicial and Legislative Branches of Govt. (after all, leaders AND bureaucrats come and go, but The Land will STILL be here-and so will the generations to come-when you and I are departed from this God’s Great Earth…🙂!!!). Anyway… YES 👍🏻… I do look forward, at some point in the future, to an Adventure Down Under 💚💛🤍🖤 (Peace be w/ you and ALL of Australia 🇦🇺 AND New Zealand 🇳🇿…🤗!!!)
This land we live in is beautiful amazing song it makes shed a tear and sad thing is how many koalas we are losing but still thank you so much for this amazing song!
