Subscribed can't wait for the course :) I just started Adobe Illustrator about a month ago an I have learned so much already an need this advanced class!!
Just came across this by accident. Really well produced tutorial. Learning the new tools is great as being a long time user, it's easy to remain "stuck-in-your-ways" and do things the long way. Many thanks.

I agree- I’ve been using illustrator for decades and learning all sorts of tricks and shortcuts you’re brilliantly making are both extremely valuable and get me out of some of my old ways. I learned how to make proper curves making fonts in design school, but that’s only my foundation. The fact that there’s endless ways to expand on a vectors based foundation is very exciting. Thank you Dansky for this!!!
Hi there, Dansky! Both you and Dan, with your Envato Tuts, have helped me so much. I started with the beginner tutorials 2 weeks ago, and now I'm on my way to advanced courses. There's a lot to learn, but I'm finally capable of mastering Illustrator (basically) and it has opened up a whole new world of design for me. I'm so thankful for your courses! I love your livestreams as well-keep them going ;)
I've been working as a professional illustrator for almost 30 years, mainly in the technical field, and I'm probably one of the last people still working with Freehand. For a long time, I used Adobe Illustrator almost exclusively to convert data or to do things that Freehand can't do. Of course Illustrator can do a lot more than Freehand ever could, but the basic functions are simply much faster, easier and more intuitive to do in Freehand. Someone who learned Illustrator from the beginning will never figure that out, nor will they need to. So I'll probably continue to go 2-track, but I'm glad there are ways to solve the problems I still have in Illustrator. So thanks for the opportunity to expand my knowledge.
When you're rounding the four corners off, press shift and do so, otherwise when you try to round off all the corners, it'll end up only rounding one off. 2:32
Hey Dansky, for the first part (OREO) I have got expanded it and whenever I do compound path the strokes disappear and I’m no longer able to fill in the Oreo eats and face, any reason why?
