As a recent student "on the deck" I can say that incorporating these concepts into my swing has really improved the distance, trajectory, and direction of the shots. Accompanied by a sound on the range that others often comment on.

Thanks for the feedback and report.... always a pleasure to hear about the positive anecdotes.

Another great video. So true about needing to work on rotating through as we get older. What is taken for granted in a younger body just seems to need so much effort as the years pass. . . .e.g., flying up a flight of stairs vs feeling it so much in the legs at age 65. Bottom line is the rotation and golf swing needs to be timed. But how you explain to come in open, . . hit or square up the face and then just finish with rotation is a fantastic method. Thanks again for publishing these videos.

And I thought I was clever when I discovered the the right foot rotation. Man, you've just completely thrown it all out there havn't you. Cheers.

Noticing the right foot rotation is one thing. It's really just a vapor trail of internal pressures and forces going on in the swing. Students here at ABS are then taught and instructed to create those forces and pressures that ultimately lead the golfer to hold shaft flex and get control of the golf ball.

Been working on this. Played for years taking it back shut so now implementing rotation i have a hard time rotating enough. When i do it properly it feels like i wind evrything up as much as i can and feel the club behind me. Then unwind evryrhing with speed. I feel like im getting the club in position to be able to LET IT GO. I really stress the forearm rotation and remind myself to turn

4:00 don't want to start a rant, but I think I'm upset as much as John here. There would be so many stupid decisions in the golf world purely made with a money-making perspective. As a sport the main focus should be to stress the importance of skills, athleticism and hard work over everything else. It seems to me that over the years we invested way too much on the "spectacularization" of this sport: bombing drivers, getting in 1 on par 4s, impossible recoveries from absurd positions miles away from the fairway, 90% of a tournament time spent on the greens focusing on putting, 5 wedges in the bag with a 0.5 degree difference between one another, 3 and 4 irons pulverized out of existence... really, what game are we playing?

The USGA along with the PGA and PGA Tour has mismanaged the administration of the game and its rules. Modern clubs and balls have been allowed to circumvent the true essence of the game; where precision and skill defined the game. Very few if any of us are playing the same game the forefathers of the game played. I love golf but I disdain "modern" golf, the modern clubs and the modern approach to power over skill.

Whats a 'full' golf swing?? Would a basketballer have a 'full' shot? Lots of bad golf terms we can pick on 😂😜

I would say that each of us have a limit on how far we can rotate our shoulders.. so maxed out... that would be a full swing. I get you point though and agree about not hitting every shot full.. I certainly don't.

I think that you need to invest in a wireless mic. Your volume is always low. You bring a different perspective which needs to be heard. 📢
